Indeed

Such moments give me goosebumps. Not only him being Somali but also the fact that it slaps away the prejudice of kids raised in the western are wasted. My take, Allah's guidance first and then the efforts and akhlaaq that parents instill and raise their kids with. Allaha barakeeyo walaalkeen Ahmed iyo macalinkiisa macalin Abdinasir of whom i met at Makkah on the last 10 days of ramadhan immediately after Ahmed winning the competition.

⚘السوال الثالث ⚘ ﴿أَلَم تَعلَم أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُ مُلكُ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ يُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشاءُ وَيَغفِرُ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَاللَّهُ عَلى كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ۝يا أَيُّهَا الرَّسولُ لا يَحزُنكَ الَّذينَ يُسارِعونَ فِي الكُفرِ مِنَ الَّذينَ قالوا آمَنّا بِأَفواهِهِم وَلَم تُؤمِن قُلوبُهُم وَمِنَ الَّذينَ هادوا سَمّاعونَ لِلكَذِبِ سَمّاعونَ لِقَومٍ آخَرينَ لَم يَأتوكَ يُحَرِّفونَ الكَلِمَ مِن بَعدِ مَواضِعِهِ يَقولونَ إِن أوتيتُم هذا فَخُذوهُ وَإِن لَم تُؤتَوهُ فَاحذَروا وَمَن يُرِدِ اللَّهُ فِتنَتَهُ فَلَن تَملِكَ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيئًا أُولئِكَ الَّذينَ لَم يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَن يُطَهِّرَ قُلوبَهُم لَهُم فِي الدُّنيا خِزيٌ وَلَهُم فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذابٌ عَظيمٌ۝سَمّاعونَ لِلكَذِبِ أَكّالونَ لِلسُّحتِ فَإِن جاءوكَ فَاحكُم بَينَهُم أَو أَعرِض عَنهُم وَإِن تُعرِض عَنهُم فَلَن يَضُرّوكَ شَيئًا وَإِن حَكَمتَ فَاحكُم بَينَهُم بِالقِسطِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ المُقسِطينَ۝وَكَيفَ يُحَكِّمونَكَ وَعِندَهُمُ التَّوراةُ فيها حُكمُ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّونَ مِن بَعدِ ذلِكَ وَما أُولئِكَ بِالمُؤمِنينَ﴾ [المائدة: ٤٠-٤٣]

I feel proud to be a somali even though our country is not that developed alhamdulilah it produces this kind of people MashaAllah I remember this aya:فعسى ان تكرهوا شيئا ويجعل الله فيه خيرا كثيرا We had wars and poverty but as a society we are strong in our religion and quran is priority one before even starting regular school, children must finish it. May allah bless brother ahmed with jannah and his teacher and parents and all people who helped him on his journey to memorize it Allahumma amin

السوال الأربع ⚘ ﴿يَومَ تَأتي كُلُّ نَفسٍ تُجادِلُ عَن نَفسِها وَتُوَفّى كُلُّ نَفسٍ ما عَمِلَت وَهُم لا يُظلَمونَ۝وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا قَريَةً كانَت آمِنَةً مُطمَئِنَّةً يَأتيها رِزقُها رَغَدًا مِن كُلِّ مَكانٍ فَكَفَرَت بِأَنعُمِ اللَّهِ فَأَذاقَهَا اللَّهُ لِباسَ الجوعِ وَالخَوفِ بِما كانوا يَصنَعونَ۝وَلَقَد جاءَهُم رَسولٌ مِنهُم فَكَذَّبوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمُ العَذابُ وَهُم ظالِمونَ۝فَكُلوا مِمّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلالًا طَيِّبًا وَاشكُروا نِعمَتَ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتُم إِيّاهُ تَعبُدونَ۝إِنَّما حَرَّمَ عَلَيكُمُ المَيتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحمَ الخِنزيرِ وَما أُهِلَّ لِغَيرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ فَمَنِ اضطُرَّ غَيرَ باغٍ وَلا عادٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ۝وَلا تَقولوا لِما تَصِفُ أَلسِنَتُكُمُ الكَذِبَ هذا حَلالٌ وَهذا حَرامٌ لِتَفتَروا عَلَى اللَّهِ الكَذِبَ إِنَّ الَّذينَ يَفتَرونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الكَذِبَ لا يُفلِحونَ۝مَتاعٌ قَليلٌ وَلَهُم عَذابٌ أَليمٌ۝وَعَلَى الَّذينَ هادوا حَرَّمنا ما قَصَصنا عَلَيكَ مِن قَبلُ وَما ظَلَمناهُم وَلكِن كانوا أَنفُسَهُم يَظلِمونَ﴾ [النحل: ١١١-١١٨]

وبالفعل حسمها احمد ويعلن رسميا انه الفائز بالمركز الأول بجائزة دبي الدولية للقران الكريم. هذا ليس غريبا علينا كصوماليين مهما ارتحلنا وعشنا غرباء في بلاد غير اسلامية يبقى ديننا مصدر فخرنا واعتزازنا وحبنا لديننا لا يضاهيه شيئ فهنيئا لنا بأمثاله 60% من شبابنا على خطاه ان لم تخنني الاحصائيات
