It would be so cool that Mephisto took those few and surgical actions to make things happen on his side

Blade. Perfect place to include the concept of Mephisto, and then slowly start to physically introduce him.

I think Disney/Marvel needs to have a "branch off" studio so that they can do the darker and more heavy stuff without worrying about their false illusions of tarnishing the mouse ears.. Like "Disney Max" or Disney Knights" or something.. I do not want toned down or lame ass versions of characters that should be just dark AF..

I like to see Peter Fonda return to reprise his role as Mephisto! He was awesome in the first Ghost Rider. I thought Mephisto or Nightmare would be appear in Wandavision. But, as a life long Agatha Harkness fan, I was glad to see her. Wandavision is setting up Multiverse of Madness, so I think we will Mephisto and Nightmare is some fanshion.

Probably won't happen that quickly. Mephisto, maybe, depending on what's coming up that Marvel hasn't announced yet and everything, and there's a couple places he could potentially maybe appear. Galactus though, I doubt he'll show up in the next 3 years (that being 2025) we already have through 2023 announced, and we have enough confirmed to fill out at least another year, so 2024, and Marvel seems to be focusing on Kang being the villain for the next few Phases, so I'm not expecting Galactus until probably Phase 7 or so, meaning roughly around 2030 or so, so about 8-10 years. Not to mention Galactus doesn't really seem to fit in the stories Marvel's wanting to tell for the foreseeable future.

You know Mephisto has kinda showed up in Hit Monkey? Also that show is really really damn good

I, being a Christian, (honestly not a good representation of what I should be) don’t think it’s a bad thing to have the Mephisto character on screen and represented the way he was in the comics, Christians are like everybody else in the sense that we all know it’s by definition a fantasy movie, like all movies, and it’s obvious that Mephisto is the bad guy, universally all children [who they are protecting] know that we don’t want to be bad guy in life, bad guy bad and bad guy lose almost always. No different than David and Goliath (1st Samuel 15-20: Bible)(yes I had to look it up) so we can differentiate (some of us). The Christians who don’t want to see Mephisto on big screen are the same ones who don’t understand the equality of sin. Sorry, didn’t mean to write a paragraph. Have a blessed one you guys, and Rob. Yeah but you guys can’t even begin to comprehend the level of the trail and talk to the city that Christians would release if they ever saw something like this in a Disney movie, and you guys can’t look past that. That is the reality and that will happen. Probably The dopest villain introduction fr. I can imagine him showing his true form and never touches the ground just sort of floats, glides through a room while maniacally explaining a deal with the devil 🤘 like any time he's on screen, there's always an uneasy, angsty feeling like what being in a room with Ted bundy post incarceration must have felt like, but he wasn't handcuffed and was carrying a knife the whole time

The way theyre going to introduce mutants is by stating that a scarlet witch from another universe has already said "no more mutants" which created the MCU without mutants. Doctor strange 2 will reverse that scarlet witchs spell and will bring back the mutants. That will all be explained by Profressor X. This would be the best way that makes sense using the comic book source material.

Ppl like Moon Night, Blade, represent the "supernatural" side of Marvel films. Mephisto would be an excellent addition to the supernatural, and even mystical side of Marvel films. I'm sure Feige already has it in his mind to spring him on us one day. He'll have to, with the elaborate turn Marvel is taking!!

Mephisto would be a great addition to the MCU. Exactly as Rob said, he wouldn’t be an outright main villain, he’d be a puppet master pulling some strings and manipulating things into his favor. He’d be a great background villain, set for the bigger picture.

I think if they're going to introduce Mephisto into the MCU I agree what you said I don't think it'd be right in your face. I think they'd lighten him up and make him more of a comedic swindler. That'd be the only way it'd work.

It Doesn't make sense that Marvel doesn't have you on the payroll already. You could be an incredible consultant at the very least to them. just saying!

Maphisto might say you can have a million dollars for a price, he could give you that money by taking the soul of a family member so that money comes through inheritance. That might be an interesting story

@@itszirvah some of those symbols like upside-down pentagon or in a circle is actually to shield from evil spirits if one believes in that anyway. But Hollywood misinterpreted the symbol. I don't mid the symbols or if characters that may be Satanists worship with the symbols, it's a religion after all. I just like a good story without the woke identity politics.

Quick incomplete theory. What if he made a deal with Sylvie so that she would get the satisfaction of killing the one who screwed up her life (immortus), but in turn Mephisto knew that it would cause a multiversal war which would cause a lot of death and therefore, many souls to come to his realm. Because think about it, for us it kinda seemed like Sylvie's idea of someone/something being behind the Alioth being protected came essentially out of nowhere. Even tho it was kinda like a guess, it would be just like Mephisto to be very vague and very devious.

A really cool thing would be If Mephisto bargained with Sylvie to kill Kang and break the multiverse. Maybe Sylvie at an early age abandoned the thought of revenging the TVA (because what they did to her!!) but then Mephisto appeared and manipulated her to regain the revenge mentality and then she did what we all saw.

With Mutants potentially making their way in I would love to get a second look at David Haller Legion. He seems like he could be a credible threat if brought to the MCU

the 2 Ghost Rider movies were done by Sony. I don't think they ever actually say his name in the movies, but it's implied that it is him. This video is speaking specifically about seeing Mephisto in an MCU proper project, as that has not happened yet.

It would be some full circle shit for Strange to have to "Bargain" with mephisto.

I'm surprised no one spotted him in the Dr Srange 2 trailer lmao they saw everyone else in the MCU in that trailer 😂

The thing is I think he would just end up being Super Evil Loki. He is not a spectacle guy. They COULD do that story where he takes over Vegas but they would need to change up the story alot or get to adding the Ghost Rider Mythos, along with symbiotes and Red Hulk. Oh AND Scarlett Spider.

Because of what Thanos did as explained in Eternals movie ... it prevented Tiamut from hatching which would've destroyed the Earth, but not just Earth but thousands upon thousands of planets across the universe that had celestial eggs inside. Even though he could not save his home planet Titan - we saw his mission on the Avengers movie.

In your opinion how do you think Christians would react if they do see something like this in a Disney movie, more specifically a Marvel movie?

I’m sticking to my theory that The Other, who was the stand in for Mephisto in infinity war was possessed by Chthon. The Red Skull being on Vormir never really made sense, yes, I know they explained it but it sounded like a hard stretch to have a cameo. Mephisto disguised as Red Skull would almost work. The whole thing about vormir needs better explaining IMO.

I’m cool with the idea that he got teleported by the space stone. The weird part is that now he’s an ethereal ghost person with supernatural awareness. Meanwhile a similar situation with Caroll Danvers gives her Superman powers. There’s something fishy going on that seems a lot like divine intervention of a higher power. I can kind of understand the Vision/mind stone/Wanda connection because the mind stone was at least explained to resemble an artificial intelligence but are they saying all the stones have intelligence?

It’s possible but there’s too much potential lost. They are vastly different entities narrative wise. Mephisto is much more anthropomorphic with an understanding of the human psyche whereas Chthon represents an ancient extra dimensional entity that thinks in a manner incomprehensible to mortals.

12:22 Mephisto’s face is on the doors in the Dr Strange 2 trailer when he talks about his “Nighmare World”. I think both Mephisto & Nightmare are beyond the events in the Multiverse of Madness. I think Kang is in the movie to knowing the content of the multiverse

I have this theory that Mephisto was present in Spider-Man: NWH. Remember how Dr. Strange was trying to grab that spell case out of Spider-Man's hand after his astral form was knocked out and his physical body was unconscious? Yet his hands were dodging Dr. Strange's attempt to grasp it. Many believe his spider sense was still functioning...I say... that was Mephisto moving his arms and hands using that as an opportunity to cause chaos within and between the multiverses!

He's in the details. Gotta think how they been making these decisions....ijs.

Agents Of Shield diverged from MCU continuity as soon as they revived Coulson. In MCU canon his death in Avengers was definitive, per Whedon or Feige idk. The series just appropriated more MCU continuity further down the line, or their timeline or however you want to look at it.

So I think its obvious Baron Mordo is likely to be one of the antagonists in the next Doctor Strange, this has been indirectly confirmed on the synopsis. “But an old friend turned enemy seeks to destroy every sorcerer on Earth, messing with Strange’s plan and also causing him to unleash an unspeakable evil.” It seems Scarlett Witch is following an adaptation of the House of M storyline and I have been wondering how this will fit in with Doctor Strange. I wonder whether it possible she could say "No more sorcerers" under Baron Mordos influence instead of "No more Mutants", as its unlikely mutants will have been introduced into the MCU by this point.

Perfect place to bring Mephistopheles is wake day movie where they tease doom.

Thanos learned about the Infinity Stones while in the realm of Mistress Death, gazing into the Infinity Pool, Gazing Into The Abyss. It was two small graphic novels, I highly recommend them. Then he confronts all the Elders, takes their Infinity Stones and creates the Infinity Gauntlet.

I think Dormammu is the main villain. I think the Chinese market basically prevents Mephisto ( at least the version of Mephisto we all want) from ever appearing in a film. If they do show him it will be in a Disney Plus show or special.

Amd what the hell is the thing in the poster top left side under the Dr. Strange image. It's red with eyes. No one has spotted it or talked about it.
