The industry still tries to bury him because he was intelligent enough to see through the nonsense and have a plan for his end game. He passed away too soon but he didn't go out broke and his family well taken care of. Rest easy WARRIOR! Muuuuuuch respect!

I met him that weekend in London May 2005 as its not far from where I live. I went on the Sunday as, while still busy, it wasn't as packed or crowded as the Saturday. FWA (UK Indy promotion from 1999-07 and 2009-11) ran matches over the weekend. RVD(injured and off WWE TV), Matt Hardy (cleverly selling his WWE firing and Lita and Edge cheating on him) and boxer Frank Bruno (former WBC boxing champ)were also there. All 3 were cool, friendly and candid. Warrior had his own space. I was lucky that I caught Warrior just as he got back from his lunch break before the queing started. As a result I spoke to him for about 10 minutes but it felt like a lot longer. I know he isn't everyone's cup of tea and has his fierce critics within the industry. However he (along with the above mentioned) were absolute gents. Warrior was so talkative and openly answered questions. After I said I appreciated his honesty and openness despite not agreeing with all his politics opinions , he said one should merely think for themselves and form their own opinions (whether Liberal or Conservative) regardless of what others thought. A few months before and after I met CM Punk , AJ Styles ( both pre WWE), Sandman, Raven and other Indy workers. While Styles was respectful the arrogance dripped off him, his social skills were poor (I think he's probably better now). Raven was self important and arrogant and Punk was a prick. Just saying.

I wish I had met him. I really liked the warrior. He was great and great body. Wrestling back then was better and seeing the warrior made it better. Miss seeing him. Even if he was still alive,I know he be retired by then but still would love to have met him RIP Jim (warrior)

Warrior gets a bad wrap because he didn’t see wrestling as an end in itself like so many. He did not focus on the wrestling, he focused on the gimmick. And his matches where not spectacular and he was not a good wrestler. But he created - really created - the importance of the gimmick. It is because of warrior we have gimmicks such as the undertaker, Kane, the fiend and yes the crow sting.

He was an amazing man. Unfortunately they write him off as a lunatic. This man was anything BUT a lunatic. They don’t listen to his words. Here he is talking about life, people should listen closely.

Mike Messier u just repeat that "I LOVE HELL PARTIES" bs from other arrogant Atheists. Obviously u think hell is fake. Thus how can u think its fun lol hypocrite. Warrior had many sins. u do too. Hell is real. Your gullible mocking words prove u are lost. Warrior had multiple decaded to read bible and attend church. He was probably agnostic or lukewarm. Benoit in hell 2.

They were never going to do that. He was brought in to lose to Hogan. Because Hogan was out of control and drunk with power in those days.
