    Hello from Romania, very good interviews. Due to the lack of time, I used this system without knowing how the pigeons should be properly fed. After watching all of Mr. McLaughlin's videos, I think I can improve the results in the coming years! Thanks for the very valuable information! I have only one question. Can pigeons be fed also only in the evening?Thanks!

    You will do great and feed once a day in the evening. It does not matter when you feed. Make the pigeons work around your schedule.

    Good evening Mr Mclaughlin I have a question so they say when training birds you train on a straight line from your loft to the race point where you need to create a Breaking point on the line of flight on the line that was drawn on the map

  • @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons

    @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons

    4 ай бұрын

    Hey Kevin, I do train the old birds mostly on the line of flight. Hopefully they received their experience as young birds. I do not worry too much about a breaking point. Most have to train a certain way due to the highways available. Best case the pigeons learn to break as young and are flying to the front due to perfect body weight. If you have a spot that you think the front birds must start to split you can certainly train their. Check out this video on Educating Young Birds. kzread.info/dash/bejne/jHdl2NhppZW6nbQ.html

    Hi Frank. So what do you do if the birds cant go out all week due to bad weather and you cant usually toss the birds Tuesdays & Thursdays and you feed %100 Barley and the birds are due to race that weekend? Do you still send them birds who haven't loft flown or gone down the road before the race that week..? How do you adjust there feed if you know that there not going to go out that week..? Also what mixture do you feed before and after the Tuesday & Thursday tosses for birds that are flying over 6 hours that weekend..? Cheers Frank👍

    Hi Steven, If the pigeons cannot go out all week they get 100% barley. Depending on the distance of the race I may feed some fat seeds day of shipping. The pigeons can stay in all week and still dominate racing. I have done this many times. After my training days the pigeons eat only the barley mix. Did you see todays video?

    Around 37:04 you say your birds might be in the loft for 6 days after a long race. How do you feed during these six days?Do you just feed barley for the days they are just sitting after they have gotten all the seed they can eat upon return?

  • @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons

    @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons

    They eat 75 to 80% barley while they rest. This is a must. Check out this video. I explain what I do and feed for the long distance. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qY2Lk6t6pNuxj7Q.html

    Hi sir. I saw all your videos, it's is very interesting and informative. I am from India, we will breed the chicks in the month of january and we will race from december last week. Will will start training 45 days before. How to give training( I mean loft flying)from february to October? How will be the loft flying and duration?

  • @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons

    @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons

    5 ай бұрын

    I am not sure if you are flying young birds. Loft fly a three or fours days a week and about start training about 45 days before the first race. No need to loft fly every day off season. You want plenty of energy for the racing.

    Tough to say an average weight. Pigeons come in all shapes and sizes. For racing they must feel light and corky. Never round and full and heavy.
