Who’s ready for an EPIC drag race!
For the first time ever, Mat has got his hands on a McLaren Senna! And he’s about to go head-to-head with… A Lexus?!
Well trust us, this is no ordinary Lexus… it’s a Lexus RC F Drift Car!
So let’s take a closer look at how these two cars compare. Starting with the Lexus, it may be based on an RC F, but the only thing left from the original car is pretty much the Lexus badges at the front and rear! It’s powered by a 2JZ engine that can produce an eye-watering 1,200hp and 1,000Nm of torque, and it’s super light, weighing in at just 1,250kg!
Then alongside it we have Mat in the McLaren. The Senna is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that can put down an amazing 800hp and 800Nm! In terms of weight, it comes in at 1,309kg.
So the Lexus has more power AND it weighs less - but when you consider it’s designed to be flung around corners at pace, does it really stand a chance going in a straight line? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

Dude has balls to do a brake test right after his brakes went out. And that save was glorious to say the least.

Right! Also The moment he knew the brakes were not stopping the car he just ripped it around with no fear. Dumped almost all of his speed. If he'd waited another .5 seconds it would have ended with a flipping and rolling car. Balls + Skill. Gotta love it!

Its supposed to do that bumpers in a drift car are flexible so when you crash or tap a corner it just deformed and goes back into original shape

I also like how people who don't got a big ego and actually love cars for cars, usually are interested in how their car failed to win. Lots of times for 0-60 or rolling races, people just complain about the brand or model of car or that's all they note.
Probably one of the best guests ever on carwow. Really amazing video and I had a blast watching it. Amazing stuff

Man.. the way Ahmad handled the brake failure.. I mean, that was IMPRESSIVE! It isn't something we are not expecting from a pro driver at all, but still.. hats down! And then, he did amazing job on the brake test without any assist against a Senna weapon.
Ahmed and Matt had a blast. And we had a blast watching them playing with these insane Toys

The Japanese are still the best drifters by miles and this dude wouldn't even be considered a drifter over there he's basically a straight line sand drifter. I can drive 3 mile up the road here in Scotland to FBurn and watch 17yr olds that could spank him drifting.

That was quite fun. Nothing surprising a car made fro traction will beat a car made for the opposite, but its still exciting. Good sports of Ahamad driving his driftcar in a dragrace.
