I'd have mine as this one but with orange/black alcantara interior! Nice review! Thomas I'm glad you reviewed it, the peoples who usually review those type or cars do a wonderful job at driving them but skip on the details! I wouldn't mind if you started taking cars to the green hell tho. -_^

I think its mid-engine rather than rear. The engine is mounted near the seats not at the back like a 911. Correct me if I'm wrong.

This review is really great at communicating how 'with big power comes great responsibility' . Flooring it will cause the end to slide around and if you are in track mode at the wrong moment you could flip the car around without wanting to :p

+Rahul Verma Hey! No, and that is exactly the reason why we tend to leave out extensive high speed autobahn driving on camera and not often doing acceleration videos - it is our own risk and that could be very very expensive

it is been my understanding that McLaren builds the whole vehicle from the engine transmission and all body parts does not sub out any work to other manufacturers

+Yeahman Wir machen das auf Englisch, weil wir ja eine internationale Community haben - und wir reden ja auch ein verständliches Englisch. Mit unsere meisten Zuschauer kommen aus Deutschland, aber genauso viele aus den USA z.B. - und da ist dann Englisch der kleinste gemeinsame Nenner. Hoffe, das ist auch OK für dich!

Overall, I think a nice design, but the swoopy headlights and body contours are too feminine for my tastes. I do recognize that the lights and side intakes mimic the McLaren corporate symbol. My wife likes it, I prefer the more masculine R8, Huracan, or even the 458. I also do not like the big push button gear selector; seems child's toy like.

I'm 183cm maybe it would be safer for me

All of these modern McLarens (excepting the amazing rear view of the P1) look very generic and bland to me. Sort of like the no name supercars that appear in video games. Nothing approaching the F1.

Really find the McLaren design and sound really bland, looks more functional than inspirational. Might be the most utilitarian of the supercars but a supercar is an emotional purchase above all, not rational. I would buy a Ferrari 458 or Lamborghini over a McLaren anytime.

Good thing there are choices. I'd love to be an position that could own something in this price range, unfortunately I can't, maybe someday.

the mechanism to open/close the top is way too loud.....if i had the money, i would not buy it just because of that:)

For me, the Mclaren 650 looks like a kit-car. For the money, the quality looks amateurish and the kind of vehicle that a 14 year-old boy would drool over. I'd go for the Audi R8 or the Porsche Targa - a couple of superb built and designed, practical sports cars. I wouldn't have one given, to be honest, other than to sell it and buy a real car.

the sound of the roof system is horrible! I guess I would prefer to do it by hand compared to hearing that!
