I agree... Springboks essentially started competing on the international stage post-apartheid and many of their world cup campaigns have been nation building and boosted national morale. They also have been very active in transforming the sport and including more people of colour in the team... Which is a testament of transformation even at the grassroot level... Major sports in South Africa has been very very inclusive over the years, with exception for the Soccer national team which has a few white players as does our professional league... Malema seems to have a deep hatred for anything he sees as representing "white domination" and his emotions are clouding his judgement.... No CIC ❤️💚🖤✊

The name "Springbok" evokes a history in rugby that we in New Zealand know very well, you cannot simply replace that, rugby is history, tradition and between our two nations it represents fierce competition, what will you replace the Bok with? the Hyenas? I'm not sure who would be laughing. I attended the 1981 Springbok Tour match in Wellington with my father, the Bok tour divided our country at the time, but rugby eventually unified the country. We moved on, hopefully looking at the joy on all South African faces following the RWC 2023 final the Bok will prevail and be a symbol of unity.

Thought so as well and it'll be a futile exercise to over explain yourself to some NOBODIES who took a decision to misunderstand you,up to this point no one is explaining the rationality of visiting Rupert's private farm including this Gayton guy is not giving reasons. this is the very guy who was playing a race card of blacks,colored,whites etc at a funeral of a slain pastor just a few days ago,this is the very same Gayton who's advocating for a change of the constitution but in the same breath he's saying that you can't change something that has been agreed upon.

Mandela agreed not Malema, so since it was agreed to abolish the death penalty should we now also say you can't bring it back because we previously agreed P.A is losing it.

Well, that's where you're mistaken. The South African people have agreed to it since 1995, when people from all backgrounds and races united behind the Springboks like with no other symbol in this country. So Nelson Mandela and co might have put it to paper, but it was the people who chose.

I was doing my two years National Service, I did not support the National Party and welcomed the 94 election and voted for Mandela. The ANC has been a shock and I cannot believe how badly they have performed for the citizens who voted them in. It has made me very sad because South Africa has the nicest citizens in the world. I know because I have travelled all around the world. It breaks my heart to see how bad the situation is in the country. I had so much hope for my country in 1994. but sadly majority government has failed all its citizens. I employed talented guys from the townships, trained them and they now have jobs in Dubai and other countries doing very well. But the ANC has declared a war on my minority and I gave up as it was just too hard to deal with all the laws and regulations. I wish you well.
