Lord Jesus bless all elderly parents and grand parents with good health and happiness, lots of love from their children
Certain portion of us service oriented, may be majority of us. Study or not, look for a job, if lucky near by or away from home. For studies as well as job. So moving away becomes a compulsion. And naturally will have to leave the elders behind. So good relation, morality, spirituality....helps to keep the holy relation going on, being near or far. Good neighborhood/society will have a role in giving helping hand in such cases. Also like the facilities children have, like childcare, education.....society must strive to have for elderly, even more than that, locally, at least each village, if not each ward. This is my vision. I am 70+ . Thanks and Glory to GOD, in beautiful situations, EVEN with children away for 'Daily bread' And if the discussion, you missed a point of "Daily reading of Bible', though Papa has mentioned in his message. very good and fruitful discussion, need to be recall the our ancestors habits and culture and create awareness among new generation at beginning childhood age before they leave their home for studies and work. Best place - in family and catechism classes.
All well said, but also should involve an youth in the conversation so that a youth view point is also spoken out
