We have a Mchale C460 straw chopper, and an older Mchale wrapper, and this is a WELL built problem free equipment manufacturer. We've been running Junk Deere round balers for a number of years, and they've been nothing but problems, bearings always going out, broken a number of rollers. Congrats on a good video.

Nothing really beats a McHale baler or wrapper (the Fusion is a great machine)

Mchale are based in the west of Ireland, where farming conditions are very tough. Heavy, wet soils, and very large grass crops. Their equipment is designed to work in these harsh conditions that are not experienced in many other places in the world. As a result, they have dominated the baler market in Ireland over the last few years.

I wish they made twine balers. Nobody wants to cut off wrap then net to feed. Just cut off the wrap and the untreated twine will have rotted off

Total BS! I have a V660 which has been a nightmare since new. I only have 7500 bales on it! The net wrap system is garbage, The Rotor, or “stuffer” was replaced last year because the teeth can’t handle the chopper knives in between. That was a $10,000 fix, and it took over a year. Had to use my old baler. The new rotor has less than a season on it, and is already bending teeth. I can’t use the chopper knives anymore. The worst thing is the garbage net system. I have to get off the baler ever bale I make because the knife won’t reset! I know people love these, and it does make a good bale, but I would rather use my worn out new Holland!

The problem you are having with the net system is a super common one on these balers every one of them I have ran has had this problem. But its also super easy to fix they make the tolerances to tight. where the knife pivots on the end of the rubber roller a tiny amount of rust will build up there and the knife will drag just enough it wont reset. I normally only have the problem after the winter but I have had them give me a little issue during the season with it. I just spray the whole area with something like WD-40 or PB blaster something to lubricate that spot and I work it in real good you have to do it on both ends it always fixes the problem for me. Hope this helps.
