The fact that this Arkham Batman doesn't have pupils just simply means he is in detective mode at least that's how I look at it. The improvement to the Head sculpt and bat logo are enough to make this the superior figure when compared to the original Arkham asylum figure.

You can draw his pupils if that bothers you. That's what I did on one of the Arkham Batman figures put out by DC Direct back in the day.

The first one was good enough, it was just the head that they used. Same with the Joker's head. It looks god awful and not accurate

Yeah regularly he has pupils showing. Even in Arkham knight they showed whenever he has white eyes he’s scanning or analyzing.

One of the best headsculpts McFarlane has put out as far as Batman's go. Can be swapped to get a traditional looking Batman

The belt is such a unique stand out part to the City suit, I'm shocked they didn't give him the proper one

Jey Uso ripped off Sami Zayn's shirt when he thought Roman was kicking him out. Pretty odd isn't it? I was also playing Star Wars Republic Commando and made the characters go "get yourself some bacta, get yourself some bacta," Then I played TMNT Cowabunga collection on PS4 and then played Diablo 3 on PC doing rifts and bounties with my Crusader with my same body.

Definitely without pupils... Nice review 👍

This one is an awesome figure. I think their reference on this figure is more like Assault on Arkham (movie) more than the original Arkham City game.

I don't have a preference for the pupils, as long as you can pose him crouching on a gargoyle. That's where I mostly use the detective vision. This figure is pretty good, let's see what they can do with Selena.

I think this is one of the best batmen Todd has released so far,the sculpt of the head does match the figure better than the others,and the over all proportions just work, big thumbs up to Todd! I agree with you on the eyes by the way,pupils just look weird

Nah, i still think arkham knight is the best release from todd mcfarlane, with seamless ab crunch and double jointed articulation, the only things that is that i wish they use more solid material

I think it's a big shame McFarland doesn't have multiple Heads like in something like Marvel Legends. Like a non-dectective mode head or an unmasked version would add so much value. You shouldn't have to buy another figure all-together to get unmasked Batman

Personally I’ve never really cared too much about the eyes with batman but for games and live action I find having the pupils shows way more emotion and especially with the games I love the eyes showing

I passed on the original Arkham batman because of his disproportionate legs being too scrawny and short. I got the new version because of a picture someone took of it and looked so awesome I quickly got to hunting it down. Still kinda wierded out by the legs, but the cool headsculp and overall appearance made me a fan.

This is a nice looking Batman figure. I'm not biased towards Batman having or not having pupils. I'm OK with it either way, but that's just my own personal opinion. Speaking of Batman Arkham City, I need to go back and play Batman Return to Arkham for the PS4. Its been a long time since I last played Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. My favorite superhero character & my parents bought me that game when I was a kid. First and only DLC I got with a game but I never played as Catwoman 😢 I’d love to get more nerdy things like more MLs & McFarlanes but 😳 it’s virginity island over here. My room is too small

I have to once again agree with your assessment Spot. Of the three 🦇🦇Batman🦇🦇figures you showed at first, the Arkham Knight version I liked the best, and of the two others....the dirtier version with the pupils(ugh!), and the "cleaner" pupil-less version, I have to say the pupils actually make Batman look off? I didn't think it would matter yet it does. He looks odd. Another SPOT-ON REVIEW! LOL. Sorry, in all seriousness this figure is decent. I'm usually not a big fan of the "video game" variants of the characters. Many times they go over the top, and it looks goofy. These aren't like that. That has been one of my "gripes" about the McFarlane DC figures, is his picks of what characters he's making. Many have been as I mentioned before and below, just off the wall weird. The Zombie Superman is one example. I don't get it? Why? Fans are clamoring for new figures of CLASSIC CHARACTERS, not Zombie versions? Or are they? If I'm wrong I'll be the first to apologize, but in my opinion, I thought fans may want classic versions of the ⚖Justice⚖⚖League⚖ but ? I'm curious as to hear what people are looking for? Besides decent and consistent distribution and a more flexible and decent price scale.

I always loved the first three Arkham Batman suits but Mcfarlanes articulation put me off with the single elbows and weird ankles, plus I know Todd rarely does thigh swivel but Arkham Batman is where it’s definitely needed! As the Asylum suit is my favorite from the series it saddened me to return the figure but I’m hopeful that the Origin suits may rectify my nitpicks

I may be wrong but I get the impression you don’t like pupils in a Batman cowl

I don't mind if Batman has pupils or not my problem with the Arkham asylum Batman is that typically the paint job for that is bad.

I've been trying to figure out whether or not I'm going to collect the McFarlane DC figures. I say that because the DC Universe figures I have are 6" and I've heard people say that the McFarlane line is 7" and not in "scale" with the older DC or even Marvel Figures. Which I don't display together anyway so? So that said, if I decide to get into these, it means I'd need to get into the sets, and so far his particular characters he's done have been 50/50 at best. I will admit I've gotten more impressed lately. The Killer Croc was good. The BAF's have been worthwhile as well. But some of the off characters or "variants" are just not worth it. Zombie Superman? Really? Why? No offense to McFarlane but I want classic figures, from either the comics, cartoons, maybe some movie figures, and TV shows. The 66 Batman line was great but I own the earlier wave of those figures. Except the for the 🏄‍♂️🌊surfing🌊🏄Batman and🃏🃏Joker🃏🃏 variants. The Man-Bat was also good, but I'm still not 100% sold. At least his figures are in stores. Unlike the Hasblow line-ups! That is one advantage over Hasblow. This fall and winter will be the test. I'd love to see a line of each ⚖Justice⚖Leaguer⚖ like say a classic 70's Superman, a classic Lex Luther, maybe even a Jimmy Olsen with camera, and Lois Lane? A classic Bizzaro, and maybe another villain? The BAF being Luther's Superman armor battle figure? Then maybe do a classic Flash set. 5-8 figures. The first Flash from the Golden era. Classic 70's Flash from the JL. Captain🥶Cold🥶, Reverse Flash, classic Kid-Flash, and the BAF King Shark or Gorilla Grod? Again just an💡idea.💡 Batman could hold off since he's done 80% of his line is Batman. A classic Green Lantern set. All of the Green Lantern iterations, Sinestro, and others? Aquaman, Mera, not the movie but the classical comic or 70's cartoon or something similar. A classic Black Manta! That I'd love. They could even release a ocean lineup. A 🦈🦈Great🦈🦈White🦈 🦈Shark🦈🦈 a 🐳whale🐋🐙Octopus🦑or🦑Squid🐙? Imagine that diorama? Then Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, and other lesser used or not as "known" figures as a sub set. Oh I forgot Wonder Woman! Sorry ladies. She has 🐆Cheetah🐆and other great Amazon fighters and baddies. The there's the classical Doomsday figure, or maybe the one from the recent Justice League War animated movie, with his cronies, and motherboxes. Those would make an epic set! These are probably dumb idea, but they are at least different from the same bizarre things we've seen lately. Again just an idea.

This is a good figure but it could’ve been better since McFarlane reused most of the Arkham Asylum version. The legs/thighs are absolute eyesore because they look lanky & no muscle definition. The belt isn’t accurate but they could’ve painted it better like the Asylum version since it’s the same. I’m kinda glad it had the white people, so you can pretend it to be a comic Batman & it’s accurate to the game when he’s using Detective mode. Like most McFarlane figure, they need to improve their engineering on their articulations, since most customizers are always improving the ab articulations & repainting the figures.

Do you guys "stretch" your videos with "fluff" on purpose? To make them longer? For more money? I'm noticing a whole lot of KZreadrs getting excessively long winded these days.
