Dont know if it counts as an alternate since its technically a main suit, but the Batman Beyond suit is by far my favorite.

My personal favorite suit of Batman is the one Jim Gordon dawns when he’s Batman, love the robot ascetic.

Got the figure, good figure, wish he had 2 or more accessories, but good figure. Aside from this suit. I liked the suit from the Justice League 3000 series. Always thought a little bit of red in the suit, just made it better. Be cool if McFarlane made that figure.

I had that figure too! I was a big batman kid and had a ton of the Kenner ones. Favorite was this black and yellow one that had retracting goggles and came with a huge wing suit. That was a great line.

Gives me memories of my favourite Batman figure from the 90s. The one you showed in this video! As a kid that action figure was some form of a ninja style Batman to me LOL!

The Batman Year 100 batsuit is by far my favorite; definitely need a figure of that Paul Pope design.

Very good figure. Anthony could make a video of how to fix articulation. It could be very useful for a lot of people, including me.

I dremeled mine to give tons of forward crunch and gave him thigh rotation. One of the best things about the mcfarlane figures is how easy they are to modify.

That's the funny thing about McFarlane figures, some of them feel like Todd said "fuck it, people with customize them anyway" and release whatever, lol. These "artist proof" figures are the perfect example of Todd not giving a fuck.

Am I the only one who genuinely really likes the McFarlane stands? I use literally every one I have. I have an excess of them from figures I've bought for custom fodder. They're life savers for a lot of figures that otherwise would've gone shelf diving. They're not as bulky and don't lift the figure off the ground as much as those ones by DC Collectibles and NECA, so they allow for a lot more flexibility on the shelf. Any action figure that's going to be sitting in a display indefinitely needs to be on some kind of stand; whether it's pegged into their foot, pegged into their back, or clipped around their waist. It doesn't matter how well balanced, tight the joints, or flexible the ankles are. It's gonna fall eventually.

Same. I'm fine with the stands. I even want some for Marvel Legends because some figures just can't stand.

Have you considered contacting Todd about the stuff that is wrong with his figures? Or if you already did, what was his response, if any?

I heard Todd actually reads emails. It might take a while but its easier to reach than the people at Hasbro or other toy companies

I applied for an action figure design job there which requires a focus on articulation engineering. Wasn't hired. Not going to offer my services for free.

Looks like the same person doing their articulation engineering is the same as the one that does it for Marvel diamond select 🤣

I did. The job description was basically my skill set... Exactly. Not even a little interest from them. Guessing it had to do with my reviews but who knows.

I love the added "if you Dremel out some of that plastic, you'll have much better articulation". I think there's a lot of value in that information.

Batman Forever Sonar Suit and Azrael Batman Suit. My two favs. And if Batman Beyond Suit counts too.

Best alternate suit ive seen (and to my knowledge has never been done as an action figure) is the Speeding Bullets suit, which this reminds me of a bit because of the cowl that completely covers his face.

Very nice looking Batman & great to see fists finally. I also like the minimal looking/no diaper, there's so many figures in this line I don't like simply because of that. Lean back looks good, great for... Flight poses...

Ok, so Im not sure if this counts, but I love the Patterson suit. In the comics they suits have a cowl, and the head kind of merges with the cape. But in real life this limits head movement. TDK got rid of that and made it a helmet, but his kneck looked to skinny. The new suit has a collar, which gives it the look of the cowl with the movement of the helmet.

Are the hands from this figure able to be swapped with the new DC rebirth Batman? That's the only thing that I need to know to decide if I'm buying this.

Zurr en arr or beyond are some of my fav alt looks.

i was waiting for you to review this figure, since the first time i saw this figure he had 2 fist hands (finally a batman figure from mcfarlane with fist hands) and i was expecting you'll be happy with it! aside from that, my favorite batsuit is XE suit from arkham origins and hellbat suit

Haha, I don't feel so guilty anymore seeing you bought it without knowing too much of the Future State story. I didn't know anything about it. I researched the first two issues. Interesting concept. Nothing that has me in awe. But this suit is definitely a favorite. I haven't been able to take my eyes off it.

My favorite batman outfit would be the Dark Knights Metal Batman to me he looks very intimidating and scare the crap out of any criminal he comes across at night I mean I know he does that anyway but still the outfit to me looks pretty cool

My favorite Batman suit is Knightfall Azrael Batman, and that's including vanilla suits. I love it.

I’m going with Arkham Knight Batsuit. It had functionality, and gave off an intimidating aesthetic.

This Batman is Timothy "Jace" Fox, Lucius Fox' son. He takes up the mantle of Batman in 'Fear State' and 'The Next Batman' comics.

I love this guy! It is probably the one figure I have fiddled with the most. As for my favorite alternate Batsuit...I have to go with Batman Damned. Do Movies count? If so, add the Batfleck and The Batman tactical suits.

The Bat-Armor from the first Batman vs Predator mini-series is probably my favorite 1-off Batman look

@6:33 it seems like most of his dc multiverse line have those angled socket on the torso and the peg hindered by those angled cut on the top part of the abs part.

Off the top of my head, my favorite Batsuits are, in no particular order: Luthor-Wayne Mark 11 from Injustice 2 Hellbat Armor Future State v8.05 from Arkham Knight Batman Beyond Tactical Batsuit from Zach Snyder’s Justice League Weather-proof Batsuit from 2004’s The Batman Armored Batsuit from Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns and Batman VS Superman: Dawn Of Justice

Okay for the question of the day for the no standard suit I assume you mean the default Bruce Wayne Batman suit of whatever the time is so my favorite would be outside of the Batman Beyond suit this version of Batman the Jace Fox it's a pretty cool suit and I would say it's cooler than the suit in the the main timeline since this is technically an alternate/possible future because the main one kind of looks like a mix of the Robert Pattinson bat suit and the default Burce Wayne one

Yea! They finally fired the person who does the accessories for these figures. No more comedic oversize accessories. Hopefully I didn't jinx us by saying this. LOL

I got this figure and I ride it up with BatFleck Batpod from the Flash movie, it looks great!

Thomas Wayne batman might be my favorite Batman look and my favorite alternate version of Batman. Batman: Noel is also a very good look. Also Batman: Noel is one of new McFarlane action figures coming out. You might want to check it out. Edit: My only gripe is the color of the figure. It's army green instead of grey, but it might be accurate to the source material since the costume is an updated version of the original Batman: Noel suit.

I like the Endless Winter Batman suit the most so far followed by the Dark Detective Batman suit figures by Mcfarlane

My favorite look for Batman is from Dark Nights Metal the Batman vs Joker Dragon(Prime 1 studio Statue)! He looks like Kratos with his Beard and the Axe!

I hate the Frank Miller line that McFarlane has done. The proportions are awful.

this is probably one of the best Batman figures McFarlane has made. really nice overall.

I saw this guy in a Gamestop and really loved the look. I like that Todd is continuing strong and churning out figures, really establishing the line... I just wish they came with a few more hands and accessories.

The irony is, it's not entirely Batman.

Even that stupid stand does nothing. Both feet dont fit unless you keep the legs very close together.
