My Bane BAF is solid after assembly. You don't need any heat or glue... Just about 30lbs of pressure to get everything to pop into place. Keep shoving as hard as you can and the legs and hands will stay on forever with pretty good articulation too. Good luck.

Hello Mister Cook, I know you're busy. Do you think with something like the baf for bane is it possible you may have to do something like switch the leg joints to establish a more secure leg on the bane baf? Also doesnt it seem like McFarlane figures, have at times, a play with custom attitude to their products, example Warhammer figures with color and without?

I had trouble at first with the legs. Thought I was doing something wrong, but then I noticed everyone else was having the same problem. I did find a trick that worked for me. I started by putting the legs on backward. I pushed them in, and as I continued pushing I turned the legs around 180. Now they are solid. This didn't work so well with the hands though. The hands don't pop off super easily, so I am okay with them for now.

Honestly, thought the same thing....but heat is your friend! Used a blow dryer to heat both ends for the hands and the legs, once they're on though....they're on and not coming off! Took a good 20 minutes to get it done, but once it's done everything is nice and very secure! I can hold my Bane figure up by the hand and they don't fall off, same can be said for the legs. It sucks we had to use the heat treatment, but honestly it's a great BAF, just not a lot of people willing to give the effort to put it together! One of my favorites from the McFarlane line so far!

Recently, yeah, that happened to me with the Marvel Legends Frog Man. I couldn't find him at my local Target or Walmart for a long time. On an early morning trip to Walmart, I found one. A week later, the pegs were jeeming with Frog Men and have been since.

A buddy of mine fixed the legs and hands by putting a few layers of superglue on the peg side of the connections and let them dry completely between each application. This thickened them up pretty well and he says that they stay together well enough for careful posing and shelf display. He said it took like 5-6 layers on each peg. You could also use UV resin, I think. Paint it on, expose it to UV, and then do another layer. That might be more durable than superglue.

I'm pretty sure the leg is supposed to be a wide socket attachment. The flat peg part should be tapered on the edges and I think that is meant to snap into the hole and catch under the lip of the hole. I think the issue is the short flange isn't going deep enough to get past the lip.

Sometimes I am able to locate Toys at Retail, sometimes I only find them after I breakdown and order it or purchase it from a After-Market shop. But some times (and this seems to be more and more), if I do not find it or purchase soon after the original release, I am never able to locate them at Retail (or at a decent price). Especially concerning Store Exclusives!

Once they were soft to the touch I pushed the pegs in and cooled them down with water. Now the Figure is perfect and it doesn't fall apart. I know it's ridiculous that you have to even do that in the first place but at least there's a solution I guess lol.

For the arm, just line the peg up in line with the length of the arm, straight as possible... then push like you mean it and it'll pop in. His hands keep falling out because this guy didn't pop in. The legs and hands need a bit of an angle to go in and they'll slip in noticeably. Mostly, concentrate on keeping things lined up & feel for them to seat.

Don't get me wrong, they are awesome but there are also some figures in that line that I am not really interested in. Call customer care and see if u can send it back to them that way they can send you one that is more functional. Great review Greg. Never have I seen you this disappointed.

Happens to me every time I make other arrangements when I can’t find something in the wild. You could always 3D print a new sword and sheath. Toy safety standards are pretty strict and swords always suffer.

I agree, the safety standards now in toy weapons are ridiculous!! It's not only just that, but toys in general have just lost overall quality and appeal, and yet you pay more money. I wouldn't buy a quarter of the rubbish that shops sell these days. When I was growing up, at least toys were meant to be played with; but now, its just rubbish.

This is a great BAF! Just flip the peg pieces to the opposite side and the legs will connect properly. I tried sending you a link on how to fix it but my comment got deleted.

Someone on a video I just watched, said he just heated them with a hair dryer and the parts went together better.

I just seen the full set today. I wanted to grab it ASAP, but it's $29.99 each. I had to watch a review before dropping $120 for a figure. I don't care about the other figures in the wave.

everybody just needs to STOP and put the legs on facing backwards and turn it facing forward and they will lock into place. I have been through 3 Banes and have my personal 4th and have had ZERO problems. Not a single issue. It's very sad seeing countless #'s of if you could call them collectors complaining like things over a Baf figure, Please dont glue it and ruin your figure.

Also as a Godzilla X-plus toy collector. Try a hair dryer. Works miracles.

Came so close to buying this set just last week. And I would have been buying it only to have the Bane BAF. Also my sons would have been playing with it. So sorry its so bad, but glad I didn't make that purchase.

Wow Gregg I feel your pain pal. That figure was a total let down. It’s not what a true collector wants in there collection.

I had problems with hands and legs too. Heat them up with a hair dryer and insert them then immediately use the cooling feature of the hair dryer...it works. I love Mcfarlane toys but the QC of his toys is bad. Also that wonder woman sword is awful!

Nice figures but I can't believe the bad quality of the joints. Thanks for the video! 😀🎈
