I have no problem with a one seater 89 Batmobile. Some of the ToyBiz and Kenner runs of the 89 Batmobile were one seater and some were two seaters. Would love to get a Armor cover for the 89 Batmobile so we can get it ready for the Batman Returns wave

Im hoping we get a more reasonable price for the batwing. this time around. The jack Nicholson joker has got me interested.

Batman 1989 figure 1/9 scale by Fondjoy is coming soon. I pre-ordered it on Aliexpress yesterday.

Very excited for this wave. If it were even a possibility , I’d love to see McFarlane do a “What If” wave of figures from the Burton Batman films we never got such as a Billy Dee Williams two face or a Robin Williams Riddler.

I had a similar thought that that could be the build a figure for Returns (Billy Dee with Two Face alt head), I'm sure he'd go for it and that would be fun. Williams as Riddler I'd say is unlikely since he never played him/was never in a Batman film and thus why pay for the license, whereas BDW was actually in the films.

As a build a figure I think Alexander Knox would be cool also Harvey Dent, Lt.Max Ekhardt, Carl Grissom or Alisha Hunt they could reuse her body for Vicky but Bruce Wayne with the turtleneck would be 👌

I mean this with all kindness, I cannot think of anyone I want less in action figure form than Knox with his dopey Mr. Bean face and Eckhardt. We couldn't even get Chase Meridian and Gordon, no need for those guys.

Batwing 1989 is so interesting. But I want to get Batman Beyond batmobile too.

I hope the Nicholson rumor is true! Would love an accurate Bob The Goon, and I think the BAF should be the main Belfry thug. While I was disappointed with the Batman '89 comic book sequel, I hope we get a Billy Dee Two-Face based on that comic.

That's funny. I was on that actual livestream when Todd did a rapid round of questions before he had to go . as a matter of fact I put in the livestream multiple times until he finally answered and gave quick response sure. Honestly all I really want is the 89 Batwing & a bigger wired cape 89 Batman figure with multiple hands only.

For the most part i am very excited to get that Vicki Vale figure to simply go with the Batman I got but I could be getting a different version to go alongside her I hoped we get a Lois Lane either a movie or comic figure soon😊

Dude I’m already getting nightmares thinking of the way Jack Nicholsons joker will be handled in terms of platinums and exclusives. I’ve been wanting a figure of his rendition for YEARS, so this is gonna be great, but also aggravating. We can assume he’s gonna have a bleached skin version, regular skin platinum, Mime costume platinum, a battle damaged platinum, and probably a sunglasses variant.

Tbh I think he really only needs one version since he essentially wore the one purple suit. An alternate head with his 'makeup' and beret would be great and that's it. The only other possible variant is mime Joker, we don't need him with his bow tie, green tie etc.

They probably told McFarlane they don't want to hear that bullshit excuse of different employees at the factories for the inconsistency of sculpt and paint quality which is the most bull shit evading of responsibility excuse I've ever heard... also I highly doubt Vicky vale will be released because say it with me "McFarlane don't like barbies" and still doesn't understand the concept of female "action figures"! Also "ROB" the goon?!😂... boy I can remember back in the day on my 5th birthday opening up my birthday present of the Batman, joker, batwing and "Rob" the goon with his high kicking action!😂😂😂

@@BoogSReviews I don't know, we've never gotten a Vicki vale figure before, it would be a shame if McFarlane did put out an 89 Vicki vale and she doesn't sell well because that would reaffirm Todd McFarlane's belief of female action figures even if wonder woman sold out in minutes!

@@BoogSReviews While I agree only inasmuch as we didn't get a Chase Meridian so it makes little sense, I always wished she got a Kenner figure since she's essentially the third lead. Put it this way, I'd rather get her x10 over friggin Walken as Max Shreck or dumb old Bob. I would bet money she'll outsell Bob and he'll be the pegwarmer of the series.

Really hoping we get a Jared Leto Joker. Joker is my favorite character so I’d love to have every live action version of him. Nicholson would be a must. Only Hot toys has done him. Can’t wait if that actually releases. I hope they change the Batman. I loved how the six pack versions are all different from the regular ones.

He didn't say it would come before Returns, I'd bet money that will hit first/we might get word at Comic Con about Returns in a few weeks. 89 seems in very early stages for next year if that. With that said I agree about the second part that it should purely be a Burton wave with the four stated, but Todd won't do that. Why on earth would he not give us Chase Meridian, Bane or a single Mr Freeze, and then we have to get Bob lol. Mix and match films Todd, no one will be mad!

I hope they get the rights to Jack Nicholson joker because that would be awesome. Hopefully they do both versions of him before and after he was the joker. That would be a must. It would go well with any action figures from Neca, McFarlane and diamond select whether it’d be terminator, robocop, evil dead, John wick, etc. If you wanted to reenact any other movies with Jack Nicholson besides Batman 1989, then this is the figure.

Much rather have Alfred than Vicki Vale.

I'd rather have Alfred than friggin' Bob, Vicki is okay since she's essentially the third character. For that matter we needed Chase Meridian as the Forever build-a-figure (not the deleted Man Bat no one cared about), and I have a feeling rather than Gordon the fourth Returns figure will be a hideous Max Shreck Walken figure pegwarmer. I predict Bob will be the 89 peg.

Hope the Alfred doesn’t look like an actor. I actually prefer the figures to look like Bruce Wayne not the Actor playing him.

Depends on who the BAF is or isn't. The Man Bat thing was so pointless in the Forever wave that it wasn't worth doing a BAF at all, whereas Mr Freeze was pointlessly made the BAF instead of 5 figures/Bane BAF in that wave.

Did Todd pay the insane license fee for jack Nicolson? Is that what’s happened? If so I can’t be more excited to finish my 90s Batman collection with penguin, catwoman and joker. Do you think the assortment will be finished by next year or will it take till 2026?
