That's cheap for me. I live in northern VA just southwest of DC. 17 bucks for a breakfast sandwich at a coffee shop and McDonald's meals large size are 14 bucks. Of course avg income in my area is 150K a year

It's impossible you remember a McFlurry in 1989. It didn't exist. It was invented in Bathurst New-Brunswick in 95. Also those were never on the menu. They took the Mcdonalds song released in 1989 and decided to remix some menu item named in that song. Next time do your 2 min of google Research.

The remix stands for peoples menu hacks that they make when going to Mcdonalds. Not old menu items.

Well since everyone who’s ever worked at McDonald’s says they’re too lazy to clean the ice cream machine, it’s not actually broken, he has a right to get upset with THEM. I can count on one hand how many times in my life I’ve tried to get ice cream, and they’ve said the machine is broken.

I thought all the McDonalds ice cream machines being broke was just an American thing

I haven't had Maccas (as we call it in Australia) for over 2 years, ever since I paid a fortune for EXTRA pickles on my cheeseburgers and got NO pickles at all. My family thinks it's hilarious that I'm still holding a grudge and absolutely refuse to have McDonald's ever again, but when it costs so much, and the burgers are shrinking, NO THANKS . Plus I can live without the guaranteed diarrhoea 🤭

It’s bc the employees don’t want to clean the ice cream machine at the end of the night. That’s what I’ve been told before..

I've never had a McFlurry from McDonald's that has toppings all the way to the bottom.

Exactly. “It’s not what you’re eating, it’s how much”. My doctor told me that years ago and I lost 75 pounds in 10 months because he told me to eat half of what I was eating. He told me to experiment with half and 1/3 of what I was eating to see which one I was more comfortable with. He told me a few other things about water, fluids, vitamins and electrolytes but it was that one sentence, “it’s not what you’re eating, it’s how much” that changed my life.

McD's also uses the multi-sandwich wrapper trick with their burgers and their breakfast sandwiches. I'm surprised you're just noticing that. I wonder if McD's realizes how much sales those Taylor machines have cost them over the years. Ray Croc set that whole contract up, and now that he's gone McD's needs to kick Taylor to the curb ASAP.

The remix items were never actual menu items. The Remix Menu was created based on how fans hack their favourite McDonald's menu items

"Remix" doesn't mean retro menu items. They've taken favourite menu items and remixed them. A McChicken has been mixed with a cheeseburger to become a remixed item. A fillet o'fish has been mixed with a McDouble. An apple pie has been mixed with ice cream, to become remixed menu items.

They need to bring the apple pie mcflurry to the States

The fries looked normal to me, they're thin but not shoestring thin.

I tried the chicken cheeseburger and the sweet chili junior chicken yesterday. The sweet chili was great, I absolutely loved it. The chicken cheeseburger was... alright. I didn't hate it, I just don't know if I'd order it again.

McD(sucks) always says the machine is down because they don't/want to clean it. And if that's a Canadian large, I don't know what you paid, but I'd be pissed as an American... sorry.

I had to laugh at your lead in to this video because when we were first married, I had bribed my husband in to going to a concert in the small town that we lived in and I would spring for a trip to Dairy Queen on our way home. When we drove up and went in to order, they told us that their ice cream machine was not working and they were only doing grilled/fried items!

I think it’s more the McFlurry machines that go down vs. ice cream in general. I’ve never had a McD’s fail to provide just a shake when I’ve ordered one. Same with McFlurry items, but I only try ordering one of those once every 2-3 years, so couldn’t give a good gauge on their availability.
