I work at McDonalds and I can assure you he won’t get a raise but maybe a reward. Where I work (Barcelona, plain center) three years ago there was a terrorist attack and thanks to my manager and the employees working at that time they took in many people and closed the door, then offered them water for free or any help they needed trying to calm everyone. They rewarded the employees that were working that day with a weekend vacation at a spa.

And you do know it takes a couple seconds for information to hit your brain right? So no duh he took a couple seconds. He still didn't run around the store looking for help. He jumped out the window basically right away. Which is something not many people would do

The only time this would make some sense is if the person is in shock. Even then the information would get to the brain in less than even a second, just that shock they too surprised to make a reaction or decision. But obviously this guy was not in shock as he was moving around.

That was my daughter years ago when she was working drive- thru at McDonald's. A lady was in the car with her kids had ordered and my daughter noticed she didn't remembered she had ordered the car rolled forward my daughter yelled call 911, jumped out the window and into the car window. The lady was headed out into traffic. Another employee ran out into the street my daughter turned the car off and reached down and got the lady's foot off the gas. Someone put it in park. The lady had a seizure and brain bleed. A week later she gave my daughter flowers and all 3 employees gift cards. McDonald's just a citation.
