Why are people shocked to see food warmers? It's the equivalent of keeping your food in the oven to stay warm and prevent bacteria from forming. I guess people expect mcdonalds to grind their own sausage, bake their own biscuits, and harvest their own milk for the ice cream.

Everything we have is just another thing you can go out and buy for yourself at any Walmart or supermarket. Everything in our kitchen is to optimize food production and to ease preparation, as we serve hundreds of people and we serve them in at an average of five minutes as well as we are open nearly 24/7 If you don’t like it, don’t buy it, we aren’t forcing anyone to eat our food.

I know this video is over 5 years old, but whats the problem? The guy is wearing a hat and gloves. He opens and closes each tray as he uses it, not keeping it open to take more than one out. He prepares each one as I would expect them to. Are people really so naive that they think McD's prepares each and every single one fresh from scratch each time?! Wake up people, its called "fast food" for a reason!

And their supposed to make larger amounts to prepare for rushes and large orders. So the question is, why the fuck do they take so damn long? I've been behind the counter and honestly, they just don't give a fuck.

Bruh I worked in two McDonald’s when I was 14 as a cook. The kitchens were very dirty I did all the cleaning and made them spotless - this kitchen is amazingly clean and food is prepped right these people deserve a raise

Everyone saying the eggs look fake but I used to work at a Panera and they cook the eggs the same way. It’s not “fake eggs” (lol wtf) or anything, we literally crack real eggs into a circular mold on a griddle/pan. Nothing crazy or disgusting here. lol

Just about everyone will say, "Mcdonalds is gross". Yet I go to a McDonalds and it's about the busiest place in my town. I don't know about you but I've never seen lines out the door and cars wrapped around the drive thru at a Subway or Panera Bread. Interesting isn't it.

John Brown Hmmmmm many orders before yours maybe, you could click collect or try deliveroo, uber eats, just eat etc. Anyhow it's going to be shit whatever you order at MCD. Some food could stay in the freezer or warmer for days weeks months etc too. Better making your own food at home as MCD is not fresh and piping hot it's just like dog food.

Because sometimes maybe people are fat and order so much damn things that it all goes out and also because there can only be a certain amount in there if not, it'll all go bad because it won't get used. So if there's only like 6 patties, and a person orders like 5 mcdoubles, do the math. You'll have to wait a bit because they have to cook more. Looks easy, but obviously you'll say that because you just say "I want this and that..." you don't actually have to prepare everything.

I'm glad he enjoys what he does. Tbh this looks kind of fun, like those virtual burger shop games. And if anyone is shocked by how everything is set up, well... it's McDonald's. So...

I work at McDonald's part-time, the round eggs can sit in a cabinet for up to 20 minutes before they're discarded and new ones are made. The insides of the cabinets are heated very high as well so the food stays warm even after it's cooked.

Because it’s not the expensive, organic, from the local farm, picked this morning, free range, made to order, bullshit that only a small minority of people can afford. This is how normal people eat. I buy the $1 package of hotdogs, the $2.50 36 egg carton, the pre packaged produce, the $3.00 box containing a month’s supply of ramen. Because that’s what most people can afford. There is a household in my family that pays over $2000 dollars a month on food. I lived off of $50 for food a month. But that’s what Whole Foods and nice restaurants will do to you.

The table that is used to prep the food is heated As well as the warming station that constantly blasts hot air onto the food to keep it warm until it is time to serve it. Most of the time the hot air shooting out of the warming station is more than enough to melt the cheese.

Retired and needed a part time job to buy the things I needed and wanted that I had forgone for years raising our three kids, Plus we use some of it for fun, and put some in savings. Its a mile from my house, I work Mon thru Fri 5 hrs a morning prepping the sandwich bar for 10:30 transition, wash trays and fryer lids, and roll burritos. I take home a grand a month, and its fun working with kids again. The food and the kitchen is kept to strict standards everything is timed or sticker dated to end of use time. Those kids learn how to work let me tell you. And they now make quite a bit of money for college which McDonalds has a great partnership that really helps young kids get degrees. What a great place for a kid to work and learn.

Why is everyone so shocked? We cook everything, but keep it warm so we can make more food. Its not rocket science. 😂
