Going to be very beautiful guitars. Tell me, are the walnut back and sides quarter sawn? I ask because I have a beautiful slab of black walnut that could use but it's flat sawn.

This walnut is quarter sawn. I would not hesitate to use flat sawn lumber, sometimes the grain is interesting on flat sawn wood.

How much pressure does the spider leg contraption place on the wood?

That is a good question, so I put a scale under the deck and with one gobar on it. It produces 5 lbs. 12 oz of pressure. Know I know. Hope your doing well thank you for your support.
