Technically, he is still Omega. Omega was Martins nickname. His Ghoul name was Ether. Same as Simon's Ghoul name was Fire. Yet his nickname was and still is Alpha now in Priest's productions.

Absolutely. He's definitely a musician in every sense: guitar player, songwriter, performer, composer, vocalist. Even though pre-2017 era Ghost is in my opinion, the best in terms of their history, this era of Magna Carta Cartel is just mindblowing...in a very good way.

He was singing in MCC before Ghost, when Tobias was just the bass player. He was always comfortable enough.

I wish I could discover this band once again... I remember being obsessed by Omega in 2015/2016 and finding this band, unveiling the mask, earing his voice, and having a new favorite band all of sudden...

@@RonyLTTiaPerola Before Ghost there was MCC (which Forge was also part of). Ghost emerged from that and Martin (who's singing here) was the guitarist in Ghost called Omega until 2016.

I really like these guys. Yes I discovered them through my fondness for Ghost but these gents stand on their own quite nicely. I love to fall asleep listening to this drift through the house. 🥰 Arvid is a great drummer as well !!

Lisa Arvid is a great drummee ,remember how well he played in Ghost? He's so 'bang on' pardon the pun,though i am very found of Aksel Holmgren he was amazing with his totally ambidextrous approach!

Sway is absolutely magic song! All my life in this melody😍

That guitar tone is very exquisite! And when the whole band comes in in the first song, my god!!!

This music does something to me that I really can't explain. Absolutely heavenly.

Man that tone

This is the 1st MCC video where I can actually see Martin's brother on drums. Most of the live performance videos had Martin's brother, who is on drums, really never really being shown, or at least not shown long enough to see him much at all. BUT, this video is a very good amount of "coverage" of all of the guys in MCC. This includes "SWAY" and "Attending Midnight Screen", which seems to be an "instrumental" song. Now, MCC has the song "Turn", also that would be seen as a popular song by MCC too. BUT, really, I would NOT be shocked IF the songs that are popular would never end up being featured here. Now, I will end up watching the video for the song "TURN". BUT, what would end up being best would be that I can enjoy hearing the song "TURN", and seeing the video, and that MCC would somehow benefit from my "liking" of this video. And, by benefit, I mean that MCC will earn about a million Swedish BUCKS per "likes" of this video, even IF it is all just the "likes" of the song "Turn".

I really love the way this guy looks on his kit. Almost looks awkward, but he's clearly comfortable. It's awesome. This music is seriously magical.

The clarity of this recording is what got me shook. Every ping of the cymbals, twang of the guitar strings, the haunting melodies, the song selection. Everything about this is perfect. Sound quality very much like Roger Waters. Martin, im even diggin the beard! Fantastic job as always! 💜💜💜

Actually his Hagstrom Fantomen! He posted a story about it on his IG page about how while with Ghost, they were working with Hagstrom to make their own RDs. But he missed out on playing them after the falling out with Tobias, but he now has his own (two of them in fact, the tobacco sunburst and a black one with the MCC logo behind the bridge) to his own specifications. It's extremely happy to see him with his own model after all the mess himself and Tobias went through. No one deserves it more than Omega.

@@jwilson2793 actually I don't think Martin fell out with Tobias. He was apparently angry and aggressive after shows just before he left and didn't sign anything and stormed on the bus swearing at the other ghouls from what I've heard witnesses say. And remember Tobias in the recent lawsuit was asked by the ghouls lawyer if he'd work with Martin again and Tobias said yes. We have to remember Martin left a year before everyone else and for a different reason.

Wonderful. And Martins solo in Sway? 👌🏻 first class

So so perfect and beautiful. MCC 4EVER

I find something new to focus on every time I revisit this session. It's f'ing sublime and deeply moving.

Seriously, I've been watching/listening repeatedly since I woke up this morning to the notification waiting for me! Thank you so much Martin, Arvid, Pär, and Niels for gifting us with this! Your music means so much to me and has helped me through some pretty rough times. This was a wonderful and brilliantly done video and session from the four of you! Please be a permanent part of the band, Niels! Martin, please, convince him to do it because the four of you really are an awesome team and so great together!

Unique sound, fantastic atmosphere, phenomenal musicians, brilliant band.

Absolutely magical. Ending with Attending Midnight Screen was sublime.

Absolutely gorgeous sounds here. I think all you have to do is watch and listen to the video and know that so much of the greatness that Ghost had was because of Martin. This is just great stuff. David Gilmour is my favorite guitarist and you guys have that epic melodic sound. The whole band is great - and amazing job Niels with the production and your guitar playing too! Brilliant!

Niels Nielsen (the guy with the strato) was part of ghost too, he was their tour menager and a Ghoul called "cowbell ghoul" also, him and Simon Söderberg recorded the first version of Infestissumam but the label didn't like and then they called another producer that fuck the mix. in 2017, after ex-ghouls was fired, Forge called him to be one ghoul but he refused cause he still is friend of the ex-ghouls and problaby Tobias get it. Niels also participated on Popestar helping the producer. Martin, Niels and Arvid Persner (MCC drummer) were mentioned in the thanks on Prequelle.

This is a perfect set! Please release the audio I listen to this every single day.

@@ahhyay8065 Ghost was at it's best right after he left imo, when the first Ghoulette was introduced as a bass player. The alchemy was perfect on live but when Tobis fired everyone to get a new band going, Ghost turned to shit. Martin was obviously playing a great part in the composition process and you can hear that something's totally off with Prequelle, it's flat and forgettable.

This gorgeous intro would be perfect for a game like Mass Effect. I can kind of see the intro to a game like that with this MCC intro just before This Time kicks in!
