Was first mod I did to my 2018 Giulia Ti Sport two years ago. I think mine cost ~$130 and quality was super. I was too anxious to get mine on and I failed to do a video. Quality is still great two years plus post install. No signs of tape detachment.... A- OK..... Enjoy !

While it was about 100° F when I put the spoiler on, I did not use any kind of additional heat. I simply used the 3M tape that had already been applied to the spoiler. I thought the hardest part was lining it up correctly. Glad to hear that you picked one up!

Hi Sean! Yes, the instructions say to use alcohol to get any dirt or oily substances off. It did not damage the paint or finish. They also recommend using an "adhesion promotor." Since I didn't really know what that was, I didn't use it. After two years the spoiler is still on there as solid as a rock.

How is it holding up under the Texas heat and sun? Looking at one for my Mustang, thanks Dave.

I'm looking at a pre owned 2018 Q4 Guilia. red w/ black. and this is exactly the spoiler I would get. I'm an Audi guy, but willing to take a risk on a 30k Guilia. Has owning yours been a good experience?

Hi KD, yes, I am still a fan after 4 years and 55k miles. I still love everything about it! I have had zero mechanical issues. I had a few glitchy things early on that were resolved with software updates. The Alfa Romeo dealership has been great. I think these cars are highly underrated and an amazing value. I highly recommend.

Great video! I just received my spoiler, but I'm worried about the chinese tape holding up. Is yours still secure? Did you ever drive it thru an automatic car wash?

I used the tape that came with it and it has held without any issues. I have used automatic car washes many times, again without issues. Thanks for liking my video! Congratulations on your new spoiler and I hope you enjoy it for many years to come. I am still loving my Giulia at 65K miles!

No it shouldn’t just slowly use like a strong floss or thin fishing line to floss off the spoiler tape from the hood from one end to the other. Then if there is residue of the 3m tape left on the hood use a any over the counter glue remover solution made for cars. Any auto parts store or Home Depot has them.

I ordered one 4 day's ago but was a bit concerned after seeing some alixpres spoilers being a bit to high compared to Qv, but i checked and i should get the exact same one as you wich look's like the Oem Qv one. Still no tape issue's?

David I just bought the same exact spoiler for $159 on Amazon. I prepped the surface like you did with rubbing alcohol and then applied the adhesion promoter that they supplied. It was a packet that was taped to the plastic that was protecting the carbon fiber spoiler. I have given it three days to fully cure, as that is the case for most 3M tapes. It really is solid as a rock and I don’t think that’s going to go anywhere.. very happy with this product

Hey Bruce, definitely no problem driving very fast. It is totally stuck on there. I typically don't put it through the carwash, but I imagine it would be fine.

Yes, no problems. While it is in the garage at night, during the day it spends many hours out in 100+ degree heat. The 3M tape is definitely holding and the carbon fiber looks great! My only regret is waiting so long to get it.

No, so far so good. I have taken it to the dealership every time and always felt like I got my money's worth. My wife has a Mercedes C250 and her maintenance costs have been almost double what mine are.

Hey Bossprodigy, yes, the 3M tape was already attached to the underside of the spoiler. All you have to do is peel off the backing and put on. Thanks for watching!

It’s a gamble buying carbon fiber parts from Amazon. I’ll use Madness Autoworks when I don’t find what I’m looking for, but on Amazon mcarcar, cuztom tuning, and jc sportline haven’t disappointed me yet. I did have to purchase my CF mirrors from madness because I wanted the factory replacement, after getting some Amazon mirror covers that didn’t completely cover the mirror. It’s a gamble sometimes

I just bought the same exact spoiler for $159 on Amazon. It is the same company that David was mentioning. Madness auto Works makes great products but they are overpriced.

Not bad but for authenticity why do non quad owners put quad accessories on? Buy a different style so it's unique not copying another model that you could have bought but that's just my opinion.
