(12/29/15) The time has finally come to ride the entire length of the Blue Line from Bowdoin to Wonderland. Strangely, it takes exactly 30 minutes from start to finish. The train car featured is a Siemens 0700 Series electric vehicle, equipped with an overhead pantograph and third rail power.
*At Airport, you will hear the train briefly shut off. The train is being switched from third rail power to overhead power via the pantograph. This is completely normal and shouldn't be taken into consideration regarding the service on the Blue Line.
Government Center has been bypassed due to major renovation on the Green Line. New elevator/escalators will be added serving both lines, an a new mezzanine will be added. The station should reopen in March of 2016.
