Came here just to say that, it's been really sad all these years watching as EVERYONE gets praise except for Travis. The man is OG, and modern metal owes him alot and he deserves more as a pillar in the community than what he's gotten.

Yea, Cattle Decap were actually the inspiration for quite a lot of Deathcore bands, including Lorna Shore and Infant Annihilator, and on the topic of that, funnily enough despite the fact that Travis Ryan influenced a lot of Deathcore vocalists and bands, he absolutely fucking DESPISES Deathcore lmaooo. And one more thing, he's actually been doing those Goblin Clean vocals ever since their album "Monolith Of Inhumanity" all the way back in 2012.

I don't agree with Travis regarding Deathcore, however do I absolutely despise the szene of deathcore. All posers, goddamn ignorant vegan hipsters who think that their music will take the throne of Death Metal! Deathcore is fun, the fans however are NOT! But yes, I need to agree with many of my predecessors in the comments. To glorify "Will Ramos" as the Frank Sinatra of distorted vocals is insulting to Travis legacy. Had Travis not "introduced" those possibilities of vocal acrobatics there would be no Will Ramos!

How much do you want to bet they are going to get rid of that “The new Will Ramos?” thumbnail after all these comments pointing out that Cattle Decapitation has been around almost as long as Will has been alive. I’m new to this channel, but if they are this ignorant, I’m good.

This was a really entertaining video, and it's a bit funny how people didn't pick up on the sarcasm at the start. I think you guys ought to check out their record "Monolith of Inhumanity" released in 2012. That was the album IMHO that locked in this trademark formula of Cattle Decapitation's somewhat extreme melodic brand of grindcore (that I personally love). If you get the chance, check out the rather humorous "A Living, Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat" (they really hate humanity LOL) for some crazy vocals and one of the weirdest choruses in any song ever 😅 Subbed to the channel, and looking forward to more videos! 🤘😊🤘

Travis and the rest of the band rule, glad you guys like what you’ve heard from them so far, you should check out their previous 3 albums as well, Monolith Of Inhumanity, their 2012 album, is where they cemented this unique sound they have and from there they just expanded on it

I just looked up Will Ramos' birthdate and the year in which Cattle Decapitation formed and can confirm that Cattle Decapitation was formed when Will Ramos was 2 years old (1996).

Before it dropped out, I listened to their discography on repeat for three days. The first album I've ever heard of them was To Serve Man when I was 14. These guys can do no wrong imho. Josh Elmore is a beast of a guitarist.

It’s obvious someone didn’t actually watch the video….

I think just like some people here, there's a problem with the title. Calling Travis "the new Will Ramos" isn't right, because Travis is one of the first people to do that tunnel throat style scream. Idk if anyone did it before him but based on everything I've found, he's the first to really do it and without him, it wouldn't have it's place in metal today. Will just pioneered with it and made it, along with Lorna Shore, popular. If someone was doing something similar to Will and is trying to make a break through in the scene, then they could be considered the "new Will Ramos", but Travis isn't it. He's Travis Ryan, one of the best death metal vocalists out there right now and super unique. Right now, there is only one Will Ramos. He's an amazing vocalist, don't get me wrong, but he's not super innovative in his style, which Travis is.

I don’t really like Lorna shore personally. And I might be that one percent but godmaker days and fvneral moon were much better than pain remains today. But cattle Decap has always been so cool to me cause they know how to keep a melody and make it heavy out of now where with more breakdowns.

The critic you get for even raising that question is obvious.

What is the reason for speaking about Will Ramos! I am sick of that vocalist being spoken about. Travis Ryan and Dickie Allen (Infant Annihilator) are some of the most known vocalists with that type of sound. Let alone that Cattle Decapitation is more than known and RESPECTED beyond what most "metalheads" can comprehend. The initial sound of Cattle Decapitation is like death grind / technical death metal. Lorna Shore was cool, but nowhere near this band.
