Mam If I am going to take admission in Georgia For MBBS this year (2023), Is it necessary to get licence from there by doing PG for NEXT Exam. Because the NCEQE is recognised until October 2028 and we will be getting degree in 2029😢

per NMC, internship should be continuous 1 year and separate. Does Georgia MBBS (Medical Doctor in Georgia) programs include this?

Why NMC think about abroad universities as most of the universities are far better than any of the private universities or colleges in India

Mam what are your opinion about East European university ?

What if we wanna do our pg in a different European country or USA, UK, Australia. Do we still need to do 9 years before doing pg in those countries ?

No, it’s just 6 years, even for the PG in india … Georgai is not 6+3… it’s only 6 years course

ma’am does nmc accept the junior doctor certificate and and can i give the NEXT exam with it?

Georgia is giving the registration after 6 years, students can come back and write the exams in india

What about job opportunities for mbbs in Georgia

But NMC asks students joined after Nov 2021 needs to get licence of the respective country to get licence in india, can we get licence without completing pg in Georgia

your degree shd be valid to get a registration.. it doesnt mean it is mandatory to get the registration... so yes, you don't have todo PG if you don't want to practice in Georgia..

Beyond doubt… CU is also accredited and you can practice is usa, uk, Canada and other countries !

So overall it's like we can do mbbs in Georgia in 6yr and come back to india and give the licensing exam. No need to get a license from the county from where we are pursuing mbbs? Does this follow the new NMC guidelines. Some of the people are saying that you just need a registration and not license... please guide me and help me thru my doubt. Please reply mam, I'm eagerly waiting to take admission in Georgia.

Read NMC gazette it says registration is required in a authority which has power to grant license

But nmc need license from the croutry we r studying thn we have to do pg know mam

this isnt correct, if this is the case then it shd be for all the countries and not just georgia. There is no reason for nmc to exclude other countries and keep this clause only for georgia... You need to get a registrable degree from the country you do mbbs.. and georgia beyond doubt has that.. so please dont consider license is mandatory

Working licence from the country you studied is compulsory and this is applicable to all foreign country mbbs students who want to come in india

@@prernasharma9057 the degree you get from the foreign country shd have the eligibility to get the licences from that country; doesn’t mean it’s mandatory to get a license and only then come back to india …. Why would anyone want to get the license of the country where they don’t want to practice at all… the rule of NMc says that you get a degree which is eligible for registration and getting a license… So yes, you can get your degree and come back to india and write the next exam
