One of the many reasons Messi the goat is that he's a team player, and he's also loved by everyone. He's a nice guy. We can't say that about Kylian. He seems arrogant, which I don't blame him, he won the WC so young, but arrogance does not age well.

Mbappe is just arrogant. Messi is the GOAT and the whole package including kind.

It'll be something interesting to see if Messi goes to Manchester City next year and play alongside Haaland. Mbappe will know Haaland is the next best thing in football, not him. Given the switch in role Messi is doing to accomodate his age, he will turn any partner into a star by simply being ther. That alone spells doom for Mbappe career, because whoever goes with Messi will be a serius contender for most goals in the champion, but also he isolating himself from the rest of the best players who could actually help him achieve that. The only way to satisfy his ego is to have worse players around him, and since he isn't the best in the world, he is pushing the overwall level downward.
