MTN launches Zimba business with MoMo in Mbale region.

MTN has today on Tuesday launched Zimba business with MoMo promotion in Mbale region. The excises was at Mbale central market where MTN officers sensitized vendors about the advantages of using MoMo in their business work.
According to Alex Wekoye the MTN marketing officer says that they want business people to use that MoMo technology to use in buying commodities and customers buying commodities on them using MoMo sytem than carrying money in hand to reduce theft.
He adds that majority of traders are ending up doing loses after their being taken a way by thugs which as MTN is trying to fight such.
Wakamboko the Mblale assistant resident district commissioners embraced the development and urged traders in Mbale and Uganda at large to embrace this technology.
He adds that as security they have received lots of cases as traders compalin about thugs stealing their money in the pocket saying this technhnogy will deter that.
Yusufu Nsubuga the sectary of Mbale central who represented the chairperson of Mbale central market saying as vendors at Mbale central market they are ready to go with this Technology as a way of trading with their colleagues who are out side Mbale and Uganda.
He adds that currently digital trading is where the world is heading urging his fellow traders to embrace the technology .
