MBA Interview Basics And Do's And Dont's

Our candidate in this installment of Fridays With Sandy is Mark, a research associate for Morgan Stanley with a 720 GMAT and a 3.7 GPA in economics from Ohio State University. He wants to stay at Morgan Stanley after getting an MBA, hoping the degree will allow him to gain a more meaningful role at the investment banking firm.
His targets: Duke, Cornell, Virginia, Michigan, Texas, and Georgetown.
Having just completed an interview with Duke Fuqua, Mark wants to sharpen his interviewing skills and asked for Sandy Kreisberg, founder of the MBA admissions consulting firm HBSGuru.com, to put him through the paces. Sandy did just that in this Friday's with Sandy episode (see video above).

Props to Mark for being transparent but sometimes it's better NOT to say the complete truth (reason to attend Wake Forest, his last performance review, etc)... ouch ouch ouch.

I think this is more of an internal consultant role.
