08 Celtics is just a wild inclusion given the state of the franchise the 20 years prior Every playoff series was difficult, took down prime LeBron and Kobe’s Lakers in the finals. WILD inclusion.

I agree with most of this ... except the 2004 Patriots not gratifying?? That's such a hindsight take. In 2004, that was when the Pats dynasty was born. They had won 2 superbowls before that. Plenty of other teams had won 2 before. It was fun, but it wasn't that special all things considered.... But when Brady/Belichick won their 3rd Superbowl in 4 years in 2004, that's when it was game over this team is special.. especially bringing down McNabb who was perhaps the most hyped QB at the time. I'm not even a Pats fan but I lived in Boston at that time and that's when the team was fully realized as elite.

2008 Celtics extremely gratifying. Len Bias dying, Reggie Lewis dying, two massive cornerstones for the future gone. Not getting Duncan in the draft. 22 years in between championships. Mazz is a douche!

‘01 Pats will remain #1 for my life. Close second is ‘16 Pats…seeing RG have to present the trophy to Kraft, and then seeing Brady raise it after all the deflategate crap was awesome.

Disagree with 2013 Red Sox. The energy was lower compared to the rest of these championships. I’d swap that with 2004 Patriots. Becoming a dynasty set the tone for the two decades which followed.

Getting to win the Series at Fenway was a blast with Uehara on the mound. Loved every minute of it.

2007 Red Sox........the ALCS was the great, but the Word Series was so boring.

Same with the 2004 Sox….ALCS with Yanks was amazing which took away from the World Series sweep
