Oh the DVD live !! Just like you r at the concert one of very favorites!! Love Frankie Beverly and Maze seen them several times in concert. The last 2 were postponed and moved them canceled. Want money back from Ticketmaster which is hard 289.00 concert has been canceled over 30 days. Can’t call only email terrible customer service I have ever seen. For a devoted fan…

Man, it was the the late summer of 1983, bought my first car while in the Marine Corps. I drove from California to Louisiana alone, box of no-doze, 2 six packs of cokes, and 10 cassetts of which was "We Are One". Listened to it there and back, wore out the cassett only to buy another one. Can I say that I LOVE ME SOME MAZE... Still sounds like the day when I first bought it. It's true "Soul Music"

Took my wife to the concert when Maze came to Greenwood, MS. She had an attitude on the way to the concert. So when we entered the show, she went to the left; I went to the right. Bought a six pack of beer, some popcorn and had the BEST time of my life. WITHOUT HER TOO !!!!! Shook the worm and the hook.

I am a white Swedish woman who got to shake his hand in LA then...just as many black as white people..we all got along and I was in love with Frankie...still am...65 years old...this music "was" me. My love for R&B, soul, funk and what then was caĺled fusion jazz what were the only genres of music that I could "relate"to...my Swedish old friends were clueless as to what REAL music was about...they missed out big time...lucky to have seen many great artists live, from Marvin Gaye Barry White George McRay, Gerald Albright, the Crusaders, then Joe Sample (solo) who I befriended, Sammy Davis Jr, , Earth, Wind and Fire the Commodores, the Temptations the Ohio Players, Pieces of a Dream, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Jimmy Cliff, many jazz festivals and so many others...I have been blessed! Music and memories that are ALWAYS with me...AND never goes out of style.. at less than 10 yrs old my favorite was and still is Young Holt Unlimited "Soulful Strut".my first single and I still remember the B side, Country Slicker Joe...at that age I was crazy about the Isley Brothers and the Four Tops..my first album ever was ABC with the Jackson Five. MY Swedish friends thought I was nuts and hated it...lived later in the USA for many years and black people thought of me as "old school", which made me proud AND I had and still DO, have the rhythm and the moves...why isn't things like that anymore...when we ALL got along and shared, nonmatter what color? People see me as😢 color blind...I am NOT! I treasure all of this...back in Sweden again BUT took all my beautiful music with me...many other artists I discovered along the years and I dance alone to..Chrisette Michelle, Joy Denalane (awesome). Remember Fela Anikulapi Kuti, whose songs (each one lasted minimum 25 minutes..Manu Di Bango, soooo many influential artists...and the generation of today are clueless as to what great music is...Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone...they are missing out, BIG time....that music will outlast many future generations! I have truly been blessed....and, Frankie, I am STILL in love with you...can't you see it in the look in my eyes?❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

5/20 @ 2 a.m. I been using this song as my recovery song because I know that no human power could have delivered me from the imminent death my alcoholism was taking me. But over 6 years ago I sincerely cried out to God to deliver me from that awful disease.❤

I totally agree. Maze, the band, and Frankie Beverly should have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at least 10 years ago, but it is not too late. I want this happen and for that reason, I am going to nominate him. I am not a celebrity, songwriter or musician but I am a loyal fan. I am a fan because his music reaches the soul; it is pure, clean and meaningful. I once read that he didn't crossover but what do you call the audience in London where he performed on the same stage where Marvin Gaye performed? That's not crossover and if he didn't crossover, does it really matter? He is a talented songwriter, singer, musician and a top performer who has the backing of a band that is as talented and gifted as he.
