How good is it to see a more "mature aged" man enjoying a car like this! Love it. I totally agree, cars like that make you feel alive. Lifes too short for boring cars.

Definitely a classic. I remember my brother picking me up in his 12a Bridgeport rx2 and taking me for a spin, I was 14 years old and got home with adrenaline pumping and smelling of petrol....from that day on I’ve been hooked on the series 1 rx2👌

Had a2 door in the 80s with bit more than a mild port motor built by a mate aircraft engineer . I thought it was awesome till I got in his mates rally RX3 13b bridge port turbo elec igntion & shit fish hooks!!! Mine was god for 140 mph if you were game as the front end would lift & steering was iffy (read scary)

How did this sort of content manage to stay buried for months. I've only just had it pop up in my suggestions a couple of days ago. This guy stole my life! Haa ha, I always wanted an Rx2 but could only afford an Rx7! I think I over heard Simon say that the engine was still running in. It's a shame, would have been nice to hear it getting an Italian tune up!

Anthony Pagano i thought he was being a bit piss weak on the throttle but i didnt hear him say it was still running in... we need a revisit to see it getting driven in the appropriate bp rev range! Just found chanel too, what a jem!

At 1:25 he mentions that it's still fresh but I don't know whether to take that as it's fresh, (running in) Or fresh, (still good after a while on the road).
