What you mean by dial? Find a center of the holder?

It is better not to use noga like that. Because the indicator is sagging on such a shoulder and measurement error is running up.

Yeah I freaked at the thumbnail. What's shown here would sag 10 thou minimum, heavy ass dial indicator too!

Not good....

This is the worst indicator setup I've ever seen. The indicator sag is emence. Especially with a mag base.

I apologize for not meeting your high standards Tim, this video is for somone to get an idea how you can find a center of drill, it's not the only way, and there are multiple devices that can be used for such task, I think we both agree, so thank you for your constructive criticism, I hope you feel better about your self.
