I came here to get information on the m600, I left disgusted at my home that I don't have a view like that. Your view is absolutely astonishing (in my best Clarkson voice). Also thanks for the information on the m600, review videos are very few and far between and it's nice to see a long-term user's perspective..

I too am disgusted by this man's success. Clearly he has robbed us both in order to have achieved it. I can see no other reason by my incredible failure in life... certainly can't have anything to do with my approach

Thanks very much! Very informative and useful information. I just ordered one and I am hoping (fingers crossed) that their IT folks have improved the app over the last 3 years. WiFi connectivity/app issues are extremely annoying but if it cleans as well as you say it does I will be happy regardless. Well done!

@@nds9441 I bought the M600. Extremely happy with it.

I have had the M400 since 2018, it just died and depending on how much the repair is going to cost it might make more sense to buy a new one. If I do go with a new one I will upgrade to the M600. In addition to the differences you outline you get a basket with the 600 vs cartridges in the 400. After using the cartridges for 6 years I can tell you I think the basket would be a major upgrade in convivence and is worth noting.

How do you pause the cleaning mode to spray out the filter then resume cleaning? Every time I stop it, it starts a new cleaning cycle from the beginning.

Great review fella thanks. I'm just about to pull the trigger on one and I'm getting a rather attractive deal to boot. Had an s series, convinced it would be fine, against my better judgement. and it was fine but left much to be desired. This time I shall be getting the m600. m700 appears the exact same machine, with additional 'smart' features, that probably won't work either. I'll scratch that one (maybe an extra years warranty for the price). I really don't understand why these companies don't subby out their software to someone competent. I just want it to work, the other stuff is a bonus, hopefully they've sorted it I like being able to monitor my pool. Wish I had have gotten my last chlorinator wifi connected. Speaking of which. You say you add chlorine? I've got a reverse polarity (self cleaning) chlorinator cell. All I do is chuck a bit of acid in at the end of the week.... and a boatload of salt when the wet season comes admitedly.. some liquid chlorine definitely handy that time of year but generally i find as long as I've got the acid right it's all good... any dramas some more acid quickly eliminates them (the stuff growing in the pool seems to suffer a much quicker death from higher acid levels then higher chlorine levels). Thanks for the heads up on the flow with the filters too. I just put the fine filters in but perhaps I might be better off with letting the flow be higher to get the big stuff and perhaps do the occasional fines run. Actually I was thinking of ordering a second basket so I can just swap one out and chuck it back in then clean the filter.. perhaps i could have different filter set ups on both (now I think of it one major reason I got the s400 over the m was the old m filter basket was a horrific pain in the arse to clean). Great video. No wonder a man reeking of such competence lives in such grandeur. (you knew what you were doing with you little spin arounds...)

I have the Dolphin E70 which is essentially the same unit as the M600 but a different color, and has a couple other features. I disagree with your opinion of the app, although possibly Matronics has worked out the bugs since you made this video 7 months ago. The app works great at my home and have been very pleased with the interface. If you are still having issues with the app my guess it's your WiFi system and not the Dolphin unit. I had to install a commercial grade WiFi system a while ago to get connectivity to my iAquaLink WiFi device which is located about 100 feet from my house along with my pool equipment. I have the Dolphin E70 positioned on the far side of the pool, away from my house - approx 75 feet. Everything is working seamlessly.

I did an update video looking at a hardware fault on the M600 - maybe I should edit this one! We don’t have a commercial grade WiFi system, but we do have a robust one. There is a Tplink Deco M9 mesh node less than six feet away from the Dolphin. This has a wired back haul to a gigabit switch which is connected to Starlink as our ISP. Ultimately, I discovered the fault was in the floating cable swivel joint. It had leaked and corroded one of the pins and all three of the tracks. Maytronics replaced the cable assembly under warranty and I’m pleased to say that, so far, I’ve had no further problems. As I mention a lot, this is a GREAT bit of kit, and I’m very pleased with the way it’s performing right now, and Maytronics customer support :)

@@newlifemarine1476 Good news from you both. Thnaks. Not that bothered but be great if it works.yes. You should update the video or link to the fix or something...also absolutely no one should need a commmercial wifi network to run a domestic pool cleaner in your average sized home block

So, bought this at a local dealer here in New Jersey. I have the m600. I used it 3 times last year and 2 times this year. Now the robot just died, and is unresponsive. I am taking it in for service tomorrow. Incidentally, I am not sure why, but the technician said that this isn't one of Dolphin's best units. Sad, I got nearly 2,000 US Dollars into this robot.
