MF was damn awesome back in this era! When you can blow a Double-G right after blowing an entire phrase on baritone horn. Damn impressive!

That’s high G not double G. Maynard plays a double G on “All God’s children got rhythm” on an album called Dinensions.

More likely Charles Greenlea instead of Slide.

Addition to the others named, I recognize Willie Maiden playing Bari sax with Maynard at the beginning and then later Lanny Morgan on that brief alto solo. Willie did a lot of great arrangements for both Kenton and Maynard during those early band years.
