Mayday Parade's existence make my day.

I think the reason Derek seems weird is because Jersey is one of their earliest songs and Derek would be used to singing it with someone else doing Jason's part because Jason's voice has rasp where as Derek usually doesn't. So I think he was scared about messing that part up because he never sings like that. I think he did it well to be honest, I like Derek with a sexy rasp.

Derrek has admitted in the past that he doesnt warm up. You can see in his live shows that his voice is now damaged from it

+Bobby Stone Yep, this is just how he sings now. His voice can't hit those notes anymore, so the only way he can get them is to scream.

Can't deny even though I liked this middle school style, it's pretty nice musica ;)

I love Mayday Parade to death, but Derek looks like he is scared to death/nervous in this vid and the sound definitely shows. I've heard them live many times and they are amazing, this time he seemed out of it a little. Maybe it was the different recording setting

looks like they're shining an awkwardly bright light in his face. Which looks cool for the video but might explain him looking down/closing his eyes so much and his eyes looking strained when he is looking straight ahead

MP without Jason to write these first lyrics/parts of lyrics wouldn't be the same. I'm glad he's doing his solo stuff now thought I loved GoRadio with all my soul.
