Underrated deck, honestly. Wish it could get more love

A favorite deck of mine. I generally run a small Balerdroch Engine and Rivalry in mine. Weakness of the deck is that it has trouble with hand traps, often losing to a single imperm or ash blossom. Strength of the deck is that its compact main-deck engine allows for a lot of flexible plays. There's Zombie World builds, Generator builds, Eldlich builds, Bone Tower Mill, and probably others. A few favorite techs of mine include Orbital Hydralander, who is live after a single Hajun play, Jack-o-Bolan, who triggers all their revival effects, and Fateful Hour to revive all my monsters. If I open well enough, I just take the Maxx "C" challenge. A lot of decks aren't running Nibiru ATM due to Horus. If I can't deck them out, Masterful Saga makes all the monsters in their hand dead.

Konami hilariously gave Mayakashi a way to counter Shiranui (A.Z Yuki) however they didn't give Shiranui anything similar.

My favorite Archetype! Mayakashi was the first deck I actually built in real life. I just had to make it my first in Master Duel too.

I always thought mayakashi was a mill deck using soul absorbing bone tower

Love this deck, has a lot of Japanese folklore in it. First time I see it "pure", not mixed with that bone tower card. Was rooting for you on that last duel, so unfortunate. Would honestly love that the Mayakashi archetype have more combos or tactics rather that just depend on a linear strategy using the tuner and summoning synchros.

Before playing the solo mode i didn't know Yuki onna was the main villain

What's this decks biggest weakness? Ash? Low powered monsters? Simply being outdated?

The deck is shit once one card gets stun ( the one which keeps coming back from grave) locked and going second it’s 100% loss if opponent has completed what they wanted .

If I wished to use a card at 3 like bone tower… who could I replace? Deck looks great

Why replace anything? Just add it in; also, can you search bone tower? If so, maybe add at 2 or even one? I’m guessing it’s just to punish maxx c?

Bone Tower builds look very different. I usually build them with stuff like Double Summon, Dark World Dealings, Card Destruction, Hand Destruction etc. That way you can turbo out to the combo, either by drawing and summoning it all, or by milling it to the grave and reviving it with Mezuki and stuff. You need this acceleration. Mayakashi don't natively have a way to get both Hajun and Bone Tower onto the field at the same time.

I love this deck tbh. Day 12 of asking for Battlewasp Beetrooper deck

The first duel must be in gold. Why tf did he keep special summon them in attack mode? Doesn’t he learn? Not to mention putting lubellion and all those monsters with both same stats in attack mode is a crime

Mayakashi is great, but i hope branded got more support cards. I mean 2782 cards and 10+ fusion summons not enough for branded :((((((((((( Also branded fusion should be at 9 instead of 1

Lol this branded player did not understand the assignment. He should’ve called by that card that kept special summoning from the grave. Also should have adjusted and just made a Masquerade dragon. 600 lp damage every effect. Great deck. Looks fun.

I dont see how this relates to the video honestly. Mayakashis really struggle to fit other support in because it takes up basically the whole extra deck and your locked into mayakashis if you want to do anything at all.

This is not beginner friendly deck you need to have skills and remember the effects of each cards to execute the combo

Yup, and that's not even mentioning that this Deck is so restrictive that only very few cards outside of its archetype can actually support it And to go even further, so are their Shiranui rivals
