Maya Kazarina was born on the 30th of April, 2005, in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Her first encounter with classical guitar occurred when attending the children’s music school in village Efimovskiy, Leningrad region, at the age of 6. She had been studying there for 6 months. Living with her parents in Leningrad region, Maya used to go to Saint-Petersburg every month for 8 years to take guitar lessons, which demonstrates her strong commitment to classical music. In Saint Petersburg, she started taking guitar lessons with Oleg Maksimov. From 2016 to 2019 she had lessons with Egor Svezhentsev. Since 2019 her teacher is Dmitry Nilov.

One of my favorite pieces...sad sad... I love this interpretation
What an angelic sound, the melody comes through like a human voice from the guitar like never before! I close my eye I see Barrios opening the door for an old lady, reaching out for the hand of God for love.! I just could not resist to stop my dinner and write this down before my emotion escapes..

@faust p Classical tremolo is played P (thumb) Anular(ring) Middle Index. Flamenco tremolo you must play one extra note by repeating Index. P I A M I One note doesnt seem like much on the surface, but if you asked a classical guitarist to add one note to their tremolo, they could not just do it immediately, they would have to work on it. And since it is an odd number of notes (5) its not easy to get it to flow correctly for classical music. You need ALOT of control. She has amazing control of dynamics as well.

If you slow it down to .25 or .5 she’s doing 90% pami and certain parts she uses PIAMI

Sounds like she's well on her way to a great tremolo, but to my ears there is a bit of a gallop init. But, then again, mine sounds like a galloping, ancient, epileptic horse, to its last gallop, off this mortal coil.

Queda más que claro que el tremolo flamenco es mucho más expresivo que el tremolo clásico; en cualquiera de sus combinaciones. Sublime interpretación.
