I think her character in season 3 and her character in season 4 are completely different but that's just my opinion. It seems like they built Robin around Maya's personality this season.

She did a whole speech to Steve about how scared nervous she gets in season 3 so I kind of viewed this as her character feeling more comfortable around Steve and the rest of them. But also like with Nancy I feel like a lot of here talking is very much due to her being nervous because she's worried about what Nancy things of her and Steve and also ngl imo it definitely seems like Robin starts to develop a little crush on Nancy due to just simply being totally surprised and completely impressed by her causing Robin to act more nervous but that's just kind of how I view the situation 🤷

i literally love her genuineness, her energy, her raspy voice, and how sweet she is. and i love how excited she is throughout the whole interview. she’s so sweet!

She's a very rare case in the acting industry. She's one of the only kids of 2 successful and well known actor's that also made it big in acting.

OMG, at first I thought it must be hard to play Robin's character, but now that I've seen what her actual personality is like, it feels like the Duffer brothers actually had to "turn down the Maya-volume", so to speak. She is so, so classy. She's classy in that rare way that suggests someone has been raised by really classy people AND independently committed to being classy themselves. And the character Robin is some of the best and most relatable neurodivergence representation I've ever seen. Can't speak highly and gratefully enough about how Maya uses her talents and energies. Props also to this show for faithfully letting her give a moment to the real issues of the day and letting her finish her thought and be honest and fervent about it. I don't watch this show anywhere near as much as I used to but that sincerity is an important part of why it has a special place in my heart.

She's soooo passionate with what she believes in especially when she speaks of it, and quite self-conscious as well in interviews, and that cute awkwardness she has sometimes. She's a classic INFP. I love love love it. So relatable.

I didn't know I need more Maya Hawke in my life... but I clearly do. What a gem!

i love how Jimmy and Maya are able to communicate while facing each other like she respects him and he respects her so much and it's like a bond between them i hope it never breaks

I love her, she's exactly same funny character on and off set..

Maya is so genuine I just can’t help to feel like somehow I can relate with her feelings and it’s hard to explain how much I admire her and even care about her 😭💖

you can tell ,just by her energy and mannerisms,that theres not a day that goes by where she doesnt take any of this for granted. She is the daughter of 2 celebrities but she has the presence of a "nobody" who has started "to make it". its incredible,you really dont see it everyday in the industry. her nervousness shows it all,very happy for her!

Woah I’m actually SO impressed that she is legitimately speaking up about the R v. W ruling and she didn’t beat around the bush or say it lowkey or hide her opinions like other people would. She brought it up in a conversation that Jimmy definitely wouldn’t have and saw her chance and stole it to use her voice. That’s what I’m talking about 👏👏

The initial ruling of roe v wade was ridiculous overreach by the federal government. This ruling doesn’t say abortion is illegal. All they said is that the court should have never done that which guess what Ruth Bader Ginsburg thought the same thing. The Supreme Court did not say that the us congress can’t make a law to make it legal which is what should have happened ages ago if they wanted it. So yes saying fuck the Supreme Court is ignorant

I don’t know a lot about what Maya has done outside of Stranger Things, but I just felt so happy for her when I watched this. She used her platform to stand for women’s rights and she’s super classy and kind. People like Maya are just so hard to dislike. Excited to see Volume 2!

Maya and Gaten are the real deal, it's like, you see an interview with them and you instantly know "yeah, they're Robin and Dustin".

Not only did she take time to discuss just how important it is to have the right to your own body and why it impacted her and her family so much (as well as telling the Supreme Court to fuck off), she also acknowledges her privilege in the industry as a nepotism baby. "tony hawk's daughter" is funny af.. loved this girl.. she's like a freaking cool person to hang with..

She's so adorable!! Her energy and everything will continue to carry us through the upcoming decades! Plus to be around for her music debut a couple years back only to see her grow from here, especially with her new single making her so excited to see for the first time makes me so happy and proud! Even from a fan POV! Her character Robin is one of the best characters and to have her be friends with Steve makes them the GREATEST DUO EVER!! I hope Robin DOESN'T DIE. It's TOMORROW on July 1st and I PRAY Robin doesn't die...

Her voice is so smoothing.. She is so cozy on that couch that it feels very homely. Such a down to earth personality. ❤️

Maya's music is so beautiful too! With soft and jazzy vocals and lyrics laced with imagery of nature and whimsical turns of phrase. Her album "Blush" has some fire lines on it, like "I wanna hold you like soft water holds the sky" or "but I can't ask to borrow what I can't bear to lend." Terrific songwriter!

She and I have the same nervous talking thing, I can only hope I’m half as adorable and articulate as she is when I do it 😂😅

I love how her character in the show matches her in real life like she basically built her character there is no one better than her as her role.

She's just like robin and that just makes me love her more. she's so special and so talented, and she is just authentic in whatever she does. Its amazing

Got tears in my eyes because this woman is so beautiful. Not only her appearance but her soul as well. That speech about abortion in the beginning - stunned. My arms went up cheering her on. Maya is simply amazing, and i love everything about her. Wish her all the best.

Can we applaud her amazingly talented parents for raising such a bright beautiful and amazingly talented woman?! There is no other person that could have played the roll as well as she did

Holy cow! She has her dads’ energy! Ethan Hawke and I are the same age (6 months apart), and I always think of him in Dead Poets Society back in the day. Such a great actor. He’s come a long way. Congratulations to Maya on her show and the album. Just saw The Black Phone today, and it’s really good! Another Ethan classic!
