I have enough courage to admit I never knew just how ignorant I was until listening to Maya Angelo speak. The great thing is it's never to late to change for the better💖

Yes indeed Mr. Rick you was blessed. I always say I have no regrets but one regret I do have. I didn't get to hear or see her live. I had the opportunity but didn't take it.

The world lost a genius Poet with golden voice indeed!

I wish I could've seen her speak. This speech is so exciting and she was funny!

Her poem "The Courage To Live" reportedly saved the life of someone that was contemplating suicide! OMG!

Watching her Spellman commencement address made me start binging Maya Angelou. I heard her speak when I was in high school. Our Black English teacher Mrs. Olasewere took our class to see her. She was amazing. I hope Black teachers are still as invested.
