I love Half a Soul. The Stuart Turton book sounds really intriguing. I have only read The Devil and the Dark Water by that author but really enjoyed it. I hope your reads go well.

Have this twisted glory on my TBR. Need to read the rest so that I’ll be caught up on it and know what happens. Need to read Foxglove and Half A Soul too. Read Rule of Wolves last year. It’s my goal to read Shadow and Bone trilogy, Six of Crows duology, anthology and graphic novel; and Rule of Wolves duology (in that order since the characters crossover sometimes) either this year or next year. Depends how my reading time goes. 🤞

There's lots of crossover in the Grishaverse but my favorite duology is Six of Crows...love me a good heist storyline! ❤️

I'm trying to wrap up the last of my reads from April that I fell behind on because I was on a trip visiting family, and I'm pretty bad about reading when I travel. After that though, my May TBR is packed with a lot of exciting titles for me, a lot of things I already own and have been meaning to get to for some time. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited you're reading through Tamora Pierce's books. I have read one of her series and loved it, but it was a different one. I haven't read Alanna yet, and this is the excuse I've been waiting for! I actually have a copy of the first book I picked up at a thrift store, so I'm gonna see if I can read it this month too! Congrats on finally getting a trivial pursuit question, lol. I'm curious to see what you think of That Time I Got Drunk. Five Broken Blades was also a BOTM option this month, but the standard first print has this gorgeous binding with decorated edges and endpapers, so I went ahead and preordered it, especially after reading the great reviews it's been getting. I also got The Last Murder at the End of the World through the Once Upon a Book Club May adult box, and I'm excited to read that one as soon as it arrives. Other titles I'm excited for coming out this month: The Brides of High Hill (part of a fantasy novella series), Can't Spell Treason Without Tea (a cozy fantasy romance), and The Paradise Problem (a romance by Christina Lauren).

I am glad the die where good to you this month. I know you got a few scary books this month but they seem appropriate for the vibe of the haunted carnival I will be continuing with A Vow and hoping it will redeem the end of A heart so force and broken it was on track to be a 4⭐️ but had to deduct half a point for the last chapter. I want to read the Mark Lawrence’s library trilogy but waiting for the final book to come out I read Ambrosia straight after frost and I know you will enjoy it definitely a fun popcorn read. 🎉 congratulations on getting the Trivial Pursuit question right they are so hard. I would be interested in knowing the spice rating for That time I got drunk and saved a demon s I keep seeing them they sound fun and the covers look so cute and cosy but not sure if they will have too much spice/smut for me as I pretty much go for zero. I read A River Enchanted and A fire Endless back to back and they where both 4⭐️ I like the sound of The last Murder at the end of the world will be adding that to my want to read list. I have decided to join you as a game jester at the Black Cat Carnival . Not sure how involved I will get I am still new to Discord and find it quite busy at time. I am still a bit confused about how the readathon works maybe it will become clearer as we go along.
