Oh, I've always found the covers of Mirror Visitor Quartet so beautiful and intriguing, but someone told me once that book one was not that great and I kind of forgot about them. I've heard really good things about Fable as well, hope you enjoy! The Dark Forest was my favorite of the trilogy, but my brother couldn't make it through. To me, it had the most character development. Looking forward to what you think, whenever you're able to finish it. I have Final Girls saved in my audible library and have been debating it, since I found the list Riley Sager novel just so-so. After reading the comment from one of your other viewer's think I'll give it a go. 😊

I have heard mixed reviews on The Dark Forest as well and while I am super curious about it, I will leave it for last, because I want to give it my full attention. I don't want to miss something and as such, I would rather fail the TBR (which I most certainly will 😂) than mess up my reading experience. Yeah, I have never really given Riley Sager a second thought, but her comment had me curious too 😊

I loved this video very much then.

I do enjoy Riley Sager, but Lock Every Door wasn't my favorite of his. The Last Time I Lied and Home Before Dark are favorites. Final Girls was good, so if you don't like Lock Every Door give him another try as some of his books are hit or miss. I haven't read past Home Before Dark yet, building courage to read Survive the Night as that book has mixed reviews. I like to read his books in publication order. Enjoy your reads! 😊🩷

You have to commit but sometimes it’s tempting to redo it and pretend it never happened 👀😂 I’ve been super slumpy the past few months but it’s getting a little better at least. So excited to hear your thoughts about it. 😁 Speaking of Jane Austen, I'm actually halfway through Mansfield Park at the moment. It's the only book that I haven't read by her, and so far, it's just been "okay" for me (which is a shocker because I've enjoyed and loved her other novels). It started out really slow and then picked up again later and now it's dragging so much for me again. So I hope the story picks up soon...fingers crossed. Xx But Persuasion is a good one! It's kind of an underrated Austen, I think--very sweet and relatable with an excellent love interest who is so realistic, not your typical "prince charming" type. It also features an older female protagonist (in her late 20s), which is a nice change and not like Austen's other novels where the main characters are teenagers/young adults. So I can't wait to hear what you think about that one as well. Sounds like a well rounded reading month! Have fun! 📚 💞

Well, already read it and you shall see my thoughts in a video I'm hoping to post today or tomorrow (and thank you for recommending it, hope that doesn't spoil it 😊). You'll see what I thought of Persuasion there too. I'd add it here, but I don't want to ruin the surprise 😁📚 Oh, Mansfield Park is her one book I didn't care for. The main heroine was simply inert and uninteresting. The rest of what I have to say will be at the end of the comment, because it contains spoilers. SPOILERS FOR MAINSFIELD PARK: Not to mention, the whole book basically followed the love affair between the main love interest and another woman, while the romantic conclusion with Fanny was done off-page... I was really disappointed in reading it (hope I didn't spoil it for you).

She's one of the most uninteresting I've read, and that's disappointing because that is what Jane Austen is known for--interesting female main characters... MORE SPOILERS (in case other viewers decide to read this comment): You have made an excellent point! Most of the novel, as you mentioned, focuses on the main love interest's desire for another woman. All we see is Fanny (for the most part) wringing her hands and worrying so much about everything--her relatives at Mansfield, what people think of her, Edmund's interest in Mary (who she feels is undeserving of him), Henry's sly and flirtatious ways, etc. There's really not much action on her part to show what kind of person she is. So Fanny is so unlikable because we really don't get to know Fanny! And there really wasn't any growth on her part, I feel. Yes, she stands up to her uncle in refusing Henry Crawford, but she really doesn't stand up to anyone else. I kept waiting for her to give meddling Mrs. Norris a piece of her mind, and it never happens! 😂 So frustrating! It's just a shame because Fanny does come from humble beginnings, so there really is a good backstory there to build up her character. But she's just an observer in someone else's story unfortunately... 🤷‍♀️ But anyway, I ended up giving it 3.5 Stars. It would have been just a solid 3, but I just love Jane Austen's writing style, and I was still able to pull some profound quotes from it despite not caring for much of the cast of characters. Hope Persuasion has been a better read for you; the heroine has a lot more depth! 💝

I'm so excited to see what you think of wheel of time. I'm 6 books in so far (I soft dnfed it late last year). You're so close to getting every character! 🎉

I am a bit worried that it might not entirely be to my liking, because I do have quite a few issues with the way the characters are behaving sometimes and the insane way romantic relationships just sprout out of the blue. Plus the overindulgent way the author likes to overdescribe things. But I do like the world and I am intrigued by the plot. So, I guess we'll see :) Oh, I know! Only one left and in 10 rolls I couldn't get to it 😂 Here's hoping for next month! ✨

Foreshadowing był cudowny i mam nadzieję ,że bawiłaś się tak samo dobrze przy tworzeniu go jak ja przy oglądaniu 😂 To ,że sięgnęłaś po książkę Rileya Sagera z mojego polecenia absolutnie zrobił mi dzisiejszy wieczór i na pewno jeszcze cały jutrzejszy dzień ❤ Ja sama zastanawiałam się którą z jego książek kupić teraz ale chyba decyzja została podjęta bo jeszcze nie czytałam „Lock Every Door”, chociaż znając mnie kupie ją i „Home Before Dark” 🫣 Ale nie będę ukrywać, czekanie na twoją opinie o tej książce będzie jednym z najbardzej wyczekiwanych przeze mnie kiedykolwiek jeśli chodzi o dawanie komuś poleceń. Mój TBR byłam już w stanie przeczytać w większości dzięki długiemu wolnemu od szkoły więc zostały mi jeszcze trzy z ośmiu do nadrobienia. Już teraz wiem ,że czeka mnie drugie podejście do wybierania książek bo w takim tempie nie będę miała co czytać w tym miesiącu.
