The delay of the noise and the subtle shockwave of the explosion is just beautiful...

I like how the STACC armor plates not only make him invincible, it also somehow increases his strength 10 fold.

I don't know why but when he yells at them to come down and for them to figure it out like men, I laughed so hard. HIs delivery is just...spot on.

I didn't even realize this, but when he put the armor in for "Don't try this at home" it wasn't a plate, it was thicc like a bricc.

The realism of the delayed sound effect from the chopper explosion was a really nice touch there.

Any variation of the “what are you gonna shoot me- gets shot” trope always makes me laugh

The camera man, the inability to hear over a helicopter, the time it takes to hear the explosion, all wrapped up into a hilarious video. Bravo.

I love how so much detail goes into lighting and sound design being realistic, while still portraying goofy looney toons ass shenanigans.

The MW3 Delta Force theme and a *literal* Return to Sender moment. This is some next level genius.

As a soldier myself, I can very much confirm this happens every friday on the job, however I personally find little ceramic plates a better solution due to them allowing more flexibility, however when I am up against a tank I like to wear some sort of active protection system, and when I see someone haunting me down with a hydraulic press I fill my plate carrier with carbon fibers due to the light weight and strenght

Just remember: The armour buff from those plates are multiplicative, not additive

Love the detail of the sound delay. From the moment you see the explosion and the short delay until the sound reaches you. Very nice detail, it hasn't passed by a number of us.

I love how Dave tomohawk-threw it, there's more chance of it hitting back end first and not doing anything but he's such a pro he perfectly calculated everything in about two seconds. A spear-chuck or a football-pitch would've been too easy!

That is a man who deserves a dark souls 3 boss healthbar

The way he delivers that "oh for fuck's sake" makes it sound like this isn't the first time David has pulled shit like this.

All of the funny aside, the attention to detail with the sound design is amazing. The slight delay of the explosion occurring vs the sound actually reaching the camera is a master stroke!

Everything about this is perfect. The small details with the delayed explosion sound and those two asking themself how they can even hear him up there. Marvellous Edit: even the camera man is visible

0:47 That actually sort of CAN happen IRL. There was a US Marine in Afghanistan who took an RPG to the leg, it did not explode. The helicopter crew said they can not transport live ordnance in their medevac helicopter due to military regulations. The pilot said he would transport him if all the crew all agreed to transport him back. They all agreed to transport him. When they arrived back at base they had EOD ready to remove the unexploded RPG and surgeons ready to treat him immediately once EOD said it was clear.

I love that detail of you see the explosion then you hear the sound. so many movies and shows get that wrong.
