I am wondering what kind of music is this church playing, looking at drums and e-guitars in the background. does this church really listen to what br. Randy says?

I want to implore our pastors to stop insulting their congregation with statements like “you’re not hearing me”, “you’re not getting it”,”you’re asleep” etc etc. This is very tacky and interrupting to our train of thought on the message being presented. These pastors must remember they are talking to adults not just a bunch of inattentive little first-graders. It is so frustrating to be trying to concentrate on what being taught when those annoying interruptions keep getting thrown out like a wrench in the gears. I keep finding myself thinking “why is he saying that? I am getting it! Stop cutting me down and keep teaching!”. It is the pastors job to share the message God gives him and let the Holy Spirit do the rest, not pretend to know the minds of the people listening and assume they are all to dumb to hear and understand. It’s time to stop this blight on our ministers preaching and reputation and be more charitable and courteous.

“Nobody’s listening”? He really said that to his congregation who’s attentively listening? I have never listened to one of his sermons before and would have shared this is Heavenly inspired but since he magically can read minds and claim “no body’s listening” and make other annoying statements I’m definitely done listening. I’m done with the unnecessary comments and how it interrupts the message repeatedly. Too bad, this might have been a good sermon but I’m done with pastors who keep doing this tacky habit of criticizing those who are listening and trying to get a blessing.
