Honestly with the constant cheating it just kept true to the small town feel. Coming from someone that came from a small town it is pretty accurate 🤣

I think a lot of this book was satire : like Savvy always being portrayed as a perfect, wonderful, woman - is how every episode of dateline says the victim 'lit up a room'
