Congrats, that's a really nice old boar. Super cool that you were able to use the BRNO 7x57 on him. Hope your buddies get their bears soon. Great idea on keeping your meat out of the melting ice in your cooler.

Didn’t end up keeping the hide, it would have been fine to pack out but wasn’t in great shape anyways.

I guess you could make any tripod be compatible with a lot of different rifles if you had the right components. It’s just a cheapo off Amazon. Bears are easy to spot so glassing is a great way to find em.
