I much prefer the desert to humidity. It can be downright miserable. You're just gearing up for a couple months where you have a ton of empties, it's an ebb and flow game.

I completely agree! I miss the weather from when I lived in NV.

😂 oh the humidity!! You are right, the difference is the sweating! It’s like 2 seconds after leaving AC you are sweating. Then when you go back into AC, you get really cold. And it’s just a cycle of that all day! Great job on your empties! A $5k goal is incredible! I have faith that you will get there!

We have it bad here, but I know down south you have it way worse! Still, I'll take heat and humidity over the cold weather any day. 🤣

I agree about heat vs. humidity. I have been in Nevada with 110 temp and i have been in Louisiana with 97 temp. They are not the same!!! 😂😂 I didn't like the Curlsmith conditioner either. I have medium texture/medium density. I don't feel like it did anything at all. I also don't care for their styling gel souffle. But i do love their foam. But for the price, I'd be happy with the NYM foam. Not the mousse but the one in the pump foamer. Yes! The Out The Door is my favorite top coat!!!

I do love a good foam. It's not enough for my hair, but I love it for touch up days. INM is the best!

You had a great month! Agreed, heat and humidity are so different! I don’t mind the heat but I don’t like humidity. The air feels heavy, it makes you feel sticky and clammy… I’m moving along with using up hair care products, skin and body care products and perfume. Makeup, not so much! I’m really trying to focus on using up some lip products! What I really need to do also is get back into using my nail products.

Hi Jessica a dry heat is indeed far different to a humid heat. A dry heat (in Las Vegas where I have been twice 😂 and Arizona) helps my arthritis, whereas a damp humid heat just makes me feel sweaty and ick. Curlsmith is hit and miss for me (very dry, course textured curly hair with a very dry eczema prone scalp). I like their fragrance free shampoo when I want a good clean and remove any product residue (my scalp likes it) and their FF gel has really good hold in humidity as a final layer of gel. The orange moisture line is fine but that gel doesn’t have enough hold, but not special enough to use regularly. I like some shea moisture products and some others I really don’t 😂. I love the Jessiecurl no added fragrance gentle shampoo, too shea conditioner and moisture mask. I’m currently using styling products from twist by Ouidad and the orange curl cream with their gel is giving really good curl definition even in the Summer, so it is pretty good and reasonably priced. I had about the same amount of empties this month and a similar monetary value. I like the smell of the Bobbi brown too as it smells like lemon custard or cake 😂, but my rosacea prefers the Revolution version as it’s unscented (bonus is it is also cheaper 😂). Best wishes x Ps I also tie my hair up all Summer as it’s hot/sweaty on my neck when it’s down x
