Just picked up a "new" (to us) shop truck in the way of a 2018 Z51 Silverado.
Regular cab, short bed, 4wd means once we can boost it, we expect only the best 4 wheel burnouts!!
For now, we switched up from a 265/40/20 tire all the way up to a 270/60/20 which gives us a better ride, looks less silly in the wheel well (the 4 series tires were tiny!), but we're getting a LOT of rubbing by adding approximately 5 inches of wheel and tire diameter. (28 ish vs 33 ish)
She's sitting at a 4/6 drop and we're going to bump to a 3/5 for now. (lower, later, once we get new wheels and tires with less sidewall)
Maxtrac and their customer service has been 1000% awesome, so we need to order some parts to bump her back up an inch or two so we can minimize tires rubbing, which will also allow some light towing.
Once we get the height dialed in, we're going to get back to looking for new wheels, so let us know in the comment what you'd recommend.
