Nah some of the cars just have unrealistic physics. When you play real simulators you realise you can go much faster around corners, Forza games always seems to have this weird understeer in all of its cars

Glad I'm not the only one to be robbed by the Daytona crash. On the right track (and some luck!) a speed tune is quite the rush.

Reminds me of GTA Online public lobby racing, where when you're about to win against all best efforts of a bunch of ramming and cheating 8 year olds their only resort is to crash your game.

It's a bug that toxic people often use. When I remember correctly they use their handbrakes. But Turn10 is fine with their toxic community. Without them nobody would play their game anymore. Most of the better players long gone.

Great driving. Why do guys with massive grip always decide it’s fine to crash into the back of a power tuned car in the braking zone or racing line? A power tune always wins on a track with straights because it’s 1000% easier to overtake on a straight than on the outside of a corner. They just don’t respect your space at all. Think they’re entitled to the racing line when you’re in it because they can go faster. Learn the rules of non contact circuit racing. I can drive full tilt on someone’s bumper for 2 laps without touching them waiting/forcing a mistake but if they sit on the racing line and I can’t overtake on the outside of the corner then I don’t just take them out, I get beat and have to take it. Usually they crumble and fail after 2-3 corners being sat on.

When is Grandma Driving going to meet Grandpa Driving in competition?

Lets be honest here. back in my FM days. we didn't use a line. it actually helps with lap times. That line is NOT the best line to take. :)

agreed, it might be more difficult in the beginning, but you will get better and more rapidly overall than if you were using driving lines and braking lines. however, there are two additional importants bits to that. One is, racing game fans have been driving these same racing tracks for how many years now? Surely a lot of people would know them by now. Second - there is a case to be made for enabling racing lines and that is for referencing the line that most people are going to take. As long as your mind can detach itself from using it, i am sure it can be useful that way.

No, I play with keyboard.

When i played on PC through gamepass, the track would vanish while i was playing. Changed many setting and still didnt work. Has anoyone else had this issue by any chance. I just want to play the game lol

how on earth do you tune your cars to be so fast? I've watched so many tutorials and tried to apply what I've learned but I simply cannot make the beastly top speeds that you achieve? Is anyone able to help?

Well basically max speed can be achieved by shedding weight, adding power and tuning gears/final drive for max speed. Tutorials may teach to have fast car in race, which is high average speed, but not always top speed.

@@IsuckAtDriving Thanks for replying. This is what I do, I decrease weight etc but its the gearing that I have an Issue with. Adjusting final drive might get me an extra 1 or 2 tenths of acceleration, or 2 to 3 MPH top speed. I'm missing something somewhere and I can't figure out what it is! It looks like you're getting tons of top speed from you final drive adjustments, like 20 to 30 MPH? I can't seem to do that and I don't know why :) I keep racing though, just for the fun. Start from the back, avoid the chaos and come in somewhere between 8th and a maybe a podium. But not at Le Mans because my car is just to slow lol :)

Nice straightline speed but it's a bit pointless most parts of the track. I prefer grip, race tyre's and so on. 1000hp doesn't matter when you have problems in every corner or even on accleration. I'm not a big fan of this speed tunes.

Something with the handbrake when I remember correctly. This kind of people should be disqualified immediately. But Turn10 is fine with it. Also with their penalty system fits the rammers. Or people parking on the apex the whole practice. Would be easy to do something against but...
