I started my horse army yesterday, and it's such a fun change from the standard army. I kidnapped all the empire lords and about won a war. Fun stuff!

Mounted Patrols and Keen Sight are my absolute favorite perks. It makes the wars just so much easier to win.

I used bow and arrow a lot on my playthroughs, but never used steppe warriors. I'll give it a try, looks fun

I just got to the point of bored reset but the last thing I did was take on a 1400 army with about 170 khan guards now to be fair it was like 1k infantry but I had about 50 casualties after wiping them out that's when I realized I had already won the war they just didn't realize it yet

@@ace3154 I'm now using a full horse archer team as well with about 70 or so khan guards and dayum. I beat one army, had most of my troops hurt and slow (due to it being post battle), couldnt outrun another huge army that caught us, and wiped them out next. I'm having a blast.

very nice, im pretty new at the game, and whenever i send my horsearchers on the enemy they dont circle around them like yours did. is it because they are not khan guards yet or what am i doing wrong. i tried pretty much what you did here in the video

I've had success by splitting my army in two before the battle starts and having a companion be in charge of one group. Then at the start of battle, have the first army (which is the one my companion is in control of) scout them (by hitting the number 1, then hitting F1, then hitting F4). This command makes them engage, but they are skittish, and if things get heated, they immediately fall back, unlike F3 which just makes them go crazy. At the same time, I immediately hit the number 2, then hit F1, then F2, which makes the second group follow me. I lead them to the other side of the enemy army (killing any Calvary that gets close to us) then once we are on the other side, I alternate with hitting 1, F1, F3... 2, F1, F3... 1, F1, and F2 (This one being a HUGE enemy killer, but it is high risk), so on and so forth. Then, when the enemy gets too close to us, I make BOTH groups follow me and reposition them again. I hope this helps.

not that bad actually, khan guard are like second best archer in game on foot, fian champion still better but not by that much. just park ur khan guards infront of the walls and let them kill everything on the walls
