Thank you for sharing, if you want maybe have a bucket of water or something next to you when you catch a fish to get the hook out so your not grinding the fish eyes an body against the rocks.

When people come to Hawaii they will be much more careful, if we have the I don’t care, then others may have the I don’t care mentality? This over time will put Hawaii at risk, it’s time we save our aina.

If your not going to eat him maybe don’t let them touch the rocks. Also maybe have a rod holder or towel laid out to rest your pole against when you catch a fish. See a lot of people grinding the poles an reel against the lava rocks

Fishing is like hunting, we go out with the intention to eat an feed our families. Not sport to poke holes in pigs mouth an let them go. This is not a game , there are lives on the line , these animals are alive? My ancestors are from these islands too, I’m not mad at you guys ; I just want us to lead by example for the world to see how we care for our island an the living things here, an the rest of the world will want to make a change for the good too, this way too we will also get much more respect from the land an others

Bro I’m 25% Hawaiian try not judge based of how much sun I have been getting. Next time every fish we catch no matter the size and species we will just kill um? Better idea yea?

Imagine if we where the fish, oh shit that hurt so bad , that guy just slammed be against the rocks an threw me in the water, an he’s laughing cause I swam away an I might die from these injuries?
