Maximize your Voice Clone quality in ElevenLabs Instant Voice Cloning

Cloning your voice with ElevenLabs Instant Voice Clone is quick and easy. But the results can be less than impressive. Worse yet, you might not even know why it isn't awesome (I didn't.) But, I'll show you how to (hopefully) avoid the disappointment and get better results. I've been experimenting with voice cloning on multiple platforms and I've found some tips and tricks to get the best quality result.

Thanks for the advice! I think I definitely confuse the AI when I first send a file with a reading of a script from a travel blog and then I thought that my voice sounded boring and I send a reading of Hamlet soliloquy to spice it up. Why they give you the option of so many samples?

Haha. travel blog to Hamlet - that's quite the range! I don't know why they let you upload so many samples. Especially when multiple files can introduce odd timing in the generated speech. I would save different instant voice clones in the lab - one for each style you might want to use. I have one I named "Bob conversational" and one named "Bob news." The former comes from samples where I was speaking conversationally (or trying) and the latter is generated from samples where I was reading news scripts. I think I have a few others, but can't recall at the moment. I use the conversational one for most stuff, but sometimes the style of the news version fits better for what I'm doing. But, when I first started and I tried to just upload samples of every style into one voice clone - the results were wild! (and not usable.) 😊

You should change your title for: how to clone your voice etc. I was really looking for advices, tips, tricks to get the best voice clone. Not my voice but other voices by uploading audio with the voice i want to clone. So if you only want to clone your own voice, this is a good video. But there is no advises for how to clone other voices....

Thanks for the feedback. I see your point and I've changed the title and description of the video. I definitely don't want to mislead anyone - I want the title to be exactly what you can expect to find inside. I didn't see the issue with the original title, so I thank you for pointing it out.
