A man purchased ad space on a highway billboard and put up these words: “Enjoy life now: There is no afterlife.” After this sign came down, two area churches got together and put up their message on this same billboard: “Life is short. Eternity is not - God.”
Life is short, isn’t it? We are already at the first Sunday of 2016. In a matter of 363 days this year will be over and what you choose to do will determine how you end this year. Therefore it is very important that you maximize this year in your life. How to live this year so that we can maximize God’s blessings upon us.
What are the areas to be careful?
1. Be careful on how you live.
a. Wake up and live wisely.
b. Live in order to please God.
2. How do I please God?
a. Live a holy life.
b. Love one another.
c. Live a quiet life.
3. Be careful to manage your time.
4. Be careful to do Lord’s will.
5. What is God’s will for my life?
a. Saved.
b. Holy and transformed.
c. Give thanks.
d. Do good.
e. Be Just, love mercy, and be humble.
6. Be careful to be filled with the Spirit.
