Thanks for your help di 👍👍💜 Hope colleges accept our love letters 💌 I guess submitting supplemental essays is negative because universities can think that student had not worked earlier on essays, if essays is not engaging they are not going to read further. Might be your LOCI can work but what if essays are not upto marks so you will again get deferred....it's my opinion but if anybody think that it's good option then go for it 👍👍

If you think that speaking with someone face to face (virtually of course) can add a spark to your application and help you express your personality in a better way, it's definitely worth opting for the interview. The interviews don't take too much of your time, they are typically less than 60 mins so saying that you're in class 12 and don't have time for it, may not be the best impression you want to make.

i got waitlisted from UW Madison and UMass amherst for CS . Is it basically rejected

unfortunately, in many cases yes! but if you can update them from your student portal! it won't hurt your chances!
